£5mill should be the starting point for Mbick...5
-
We all love Fullah but from what I've seen and read Nyoni is a step above him and could have a Gallagher type affect on us.
You don't play for Liverpool's first team at that age without having some serious ability. The question will be can he physically handle the Championship or is this too early. He will certainly add legs to our midfield and will add some quality on the ball, which has been sadly lacking.
The Mbick news is really gutting, there's a huge dearth of domestic strikers in the game right now and we're selling our own before we've even seen him. It might be a good fee but that's after 15-20 games in L2.
Imagine what a England U20/U21 international who's playing in the Championship would be worth in 12 months. Your looking at £10-£15m, now that's transformative. This is just a cash grab, what happened to wanting to sell at their peak value. If's he any good (and he looks it) then we are being robbed at £5m.5 -
He wouldn’t play for us in the championship few years away from that level same with KanuElliotCAFC said:Selling Mbick now is so short sighted, he only needs to have a decent spell in the Championship with us next season and his price is more than double what is it now.1 -

What if he doesn’t, he is scoring in league 2 at the moment, totally different to the champElliotCAFC said:Selling Mbick now is so short sighted, he only needs to have a decent spell in the Championship with us next season and his price is more than double what is it now.2 -

Here we go... Could it be a complete surprise0
-
Given how many games Nyoni has been involved in for Liverpool (he's been on the bench for the last 8-games, playing two of them), I wonder how much his move hinges on Liverpool signing Jeremy Jacquet for £60m, who is having his medical there - Different stages of their playing careers, but Jacquet joining means one less spot in the match day squad.0

With a good sell on, and Brighton do sell players HIGH, could well see this as a £10-15m plus dealThomasOliver3 said:We all love Fullah but from what I've seen and read Nyoni is a step above him and could have a Gallagher type affect on us.

That Pen is out

And that is the crux of it all, is he anywhere near championship ready? If Leaburn and Dykes are the standard, how far away is Mbick? Judging him solely on his cameo at Wembley I think he's got a long way to go yetTo_Be_Franck said:
Very true. But if he has a shit season next year, his value will be less than halfElliotCAFC said:Selling Mbick now is so short sighted, he only needs to have a decent spell in the Championship with us next season and his price is more than double what is it now.1 -

Different positions and Jacquet joining in the summer anywayForeverAddickted said:Given how many games Nyoni has been involved in for Liverpool (he's been on the bench for the last 8-games, playing two of them), I wonder how much his move hinges on Liverpool signing Jeremy Jacquet for £60m, who is having his medical there - Different stages of their playing careers, but Jacquet joining means one less spot in the match day squad.3 -
Why a joke!!! Why not have him at Charlton for a few seasons so that we can watch a quality Charlton player rather than those brought in on the this and the last window.DamoNorthStand said:
Presume this is a joke?kentred2 said:All confidence in the latest gang of owners gone if Mbick goes already.
A player who has barely played for us, and tbh when he did wasn't exactly Gomez / Lookman levels of impact.
On paper, with offers we are hearing about, it is a good decision for the club.Keep and sell for bigger money if you want a club that grows.0 -
