Can see Hurzler going. Tony Bloom will have to fire up his algorithms to find the next random European he can appoint. Don't think their transfer business has been very good recently either.1

Watford look set to appoint Edward Still , brother of Will Still as their new manager. Currently assistant manager at Anderlecht and has managed a few clubs in Belgium.2

How long can Watford keep their Ed Still for?12

It's Watford nothing really surprises me anymore with their managerial appointments , it would be more surprising if they appointed someone that actually knew the Championshipfenaddick said:

"On 22 October 2022, Still was sacked by Charleroi, having taken 16 points from a possible 42 at the start of his second season"
"In November 2022, Still became the manager of Eupen. He was sacked on 25 April after taking 12 points from a potential 51; his final two games were lost 5–1 at home to Zulte Waregem and 7–0 at Club Brugge."
"Still began the 2023–24 season as manager of Kortrijk, and was the first manager sacked, on 25 September. He had won none and drawn two of his eight games"
His last 2 managerial roles lasted a total of 25 games, winning just 2 of them.10 -
And yet they aren't usually threatened with relegation.MarcusH26 said:

A club I really struggle to figure out , they spend good money for this level but tend to end up in no man's land most seasons. I know they're currently 3 off the playoffs but so are about 5 other teamsCaptainRobbo said:

If you have three new manager bounces every season you'll be ok to stay up.7 -

Over qualified for the Watford job.4 -
Definitely something that can only have happened recently, that two brothers can both have had managerial careers at such a young age despite not playing.
I wonder if this "fashion" for coaches who have come up the analyst route will fade.

Only 4 more Watford managers to go until Christmas...ForeverAddickted said:I feel like Watford will go through at least one more Manager before the end of the season12 -
If he does as bad as his brother did at Southampton, maybe they'll be joining us for a relegation fight1

Nathan must be a favourite for the Watford job as I recall their fans singing his name during our game at the Valley.15

Can't remember the exact wording but Nathan went over to them at the end of the game to acknowledge themCaptainRobbo said:

Looks like Rowett to Blackburn is a goer, annoyingly good appointment3

This really has a feel of Karel Fraeye about it.clive said:3 -
He would make sense for Leicester, especially with his Midlands roots and being a former player.fenaddick said:Looks like Rowett to Blackburn is a goer, annoyingly good appointment3 -
They face Derby, Oxford, Millwall, Birmingham and Stoke all in the space of 6 weeks between the end of Feb and Mid-April. Hopefully he doesn't have a good record against former clubs.fenaddick said:Looks like Rowett to Blackburn is a goer, annoyingly good appointment3 -

De Zerbi sacked by Marseille this morning too. I know some Spurs fans that don't want him anywhere near them but I could see it happening.1

Glasner to Spurs in the summer?2
