  • After a number of disasterous results and poor performances Torquay Utd have sacked their manager and put Neil Warnock in temporary charge.
Let's hope Warnock can work his magic. From top of the table to clinging onto a playoff place. Something has gone very wrong very quickly.

Three more injuries this weekend. Den Lewis, Alfie Rutherford and Luke Moore.

    Added to:
    Charlie Carter (broken toe)
    Dan Pybus (broken toe)
    Jimmy Muitt (Broken ankle)
    Josh Taylor (ACL)
    Paul McCallum (Calf strain)
    Patrick Casey (Hamstring tear)
    Jose Marquez (Not sure)
    James McShane (MCL)

All of those players were first choice when available at various times of this season. Charlie is the captain, easily the best player in the division and will have missed over half the season. Charlie, Josh and Dan P are the first choice midfield. Den and Jim first choice wingers. Casey scored a goal a game for 10 games. And they're still somehow top.

Doesn't surprise me. Had an absolutely disastrous week losing to Eastbourne and Worthing before the demolition from the Charlton old boys brigade Chelmsford have assembled with Taylor , Ricky Holmes , Jason Adigun and now Manny Egbo.

What a nightmare ! Wonder if there's any chance of further loans from Charlton ?

Apparently KSI has joined the owners group at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Expected to be at their game Saturday vs league leaders Dorking.
(Buying a club seems an extravagant way just to see Kai Enslin play but fair enough)

Some good news for Welling, with Hashtag United asking to be relegated from the Isthmian Premier this season. Welling are already on a bit of a comeback and are just a point behind Hashtag (with a game in hand), but with this news they step outside of the relegation zone now.

Millwall have asked the EFL to be relegated from the Championship this season.

Well they will do once I can forge some headed paper and the right signature.

Poor, but not that much different to many other teams in that division

Off to watch Dartford play at Carshalton this afternoon. Their main stand look like a dodgy AI image of the Jimmy Seed stand  :D

  • Folkestone Invicta hoping to clinch promotion today to National League South. The chairman has laid on free coaches to St Albans for fans and will buy supporters their drinks up to 2.30pm prior to the game.

Great ground St Albans, good for public transport, lovely setting in middle of park, great beer.

Big day for Punjab Utd today, they play Cockfosters in the second leg of the Vase semi final. 1-1 from the first leg.

Will have a trip to watch at Wembley if they make it.

Not sure if its too late but there is a great pub there called the hope. 5 mins walk from the ground and close to the main station. Does a stack of real ales and tasty hot pots.

Been there a couple of times in recent seasons to see Ebbsfleet and Hartley Witney. Nice bar in the ground you can get a pint and watch the game too.

Sutton common rovers ground share with them and when i saw HW play they gave you a ticket for a free burger with your admittance.

Thanks,  might have a quick pint in The Hope afterwards.  The bar in the ground looks decent as well.

I see there are restrictions on under 17’s attending Dartford v Chatham without an adult due to them potentially playing up and causing trouble

2-2, conceding a late equaliser yet again,  Dartford not been good enough all season.

The Hope is a great pub at least, while the Carshalton clubhouse is also really good,  with 2 Windsor and Eton real ales.

Under 17s have regularly been restricted all season. In the away game at Chatham for example,  all unaccompanied U17s from Dartford were banned. A large group weren't allowed in.
