No mate, we played them todayCrispywood said:Kaminski back in for Wednesday?15 -
I'd argue that our gutless display and negative formation cost us points today.2
-
Neither of them are good enough.6

And yet we would have won 1-0 with it.Talal said:I'd argue that our gutless display and negative formation cost us points today.5 -
Two big errors - some good stuff in between but no faith in him as our number one.2
-
And I'd argue that we've had games like that with Kaminski in goal and hung on to clean sheets. Mannion is nowhere near the level required for this league and is riding on a wave of sentiment from last season and not being on 20k a weekTalal said:I'd argue that our gutless display and negative formation cost us points today.11 -
Unless you have a crystal ball you don't know what would've happened had Mannion claimed that ball. Different sequence of events.Callumcafc said:

Kaminski has been no more than average at best but you'll probably just tell me to fuck off. Seems to be your way.sam3110 said:

Wednesday didn't create any meaningful chances all game, the way we defended we should have been able to rely on a 1-0 win but Mannion has failed at the thing he's best at and gifted them a goal from nothing. The irony is Kaminski would have punched that and the danger would have gone. If you go up for a catch you have to make it, it's why it's safer to punch even if it's not popular with this country's football fans. That's two really bad errors he's made that have cost us points in situations where we weren't really under significant pressure in a game. Really frustrating4

That’s two very poor mistakes that’s cost us 3 points … no need to come out in a crowded area ….. frustrating cause they never looked like scoring and there nothing a manager can do about that0

I’ve said time and again that goalkeeper is a position to invest in as you can get far better VFM compared to strikers. Yet I agree neither of our starters are top Championship keepers and that’s what we need.5

Mannion had a great punch earlier in the game with a similar situation and inexplicably tried to catch it for the goal.
He's single-handedly cost us 3 points this season. Watford he did well, but the inconsistency is unacceptable at this level.
He is what he is, a league one keeper and needs to go back there.4 -
When I first saw the goal, I thought it was a foul, when I watched the replay, I thought it was another clanger, and another 2 points dropped, frustrating.1

Mannion was signed as a backup in League One, time to stop this nonsense and have Kaminski back in between the sticks for the last few games.1

Kaminski is average at best but it is looking like Mannion is well below average at best. He had the one game where he was fantastic but has not been good other than that.Talal said:

Sure, but that's a different player doing a different insane thing in an area where they were going nowhere. We're lucky that Burke wasn't properly punished for that tackle, Mannion was. They both need beating with a sack of orangesTalal said:

No, definite error. We need better but I'd be happy to keep Mannion as back up and move Kaminski on.The Red Robin said:Was it a foul?3 -
Mannion was under pressure from their man but he fumbled the ball, there was no foul. The Red Robin said:

Average is better than what Mannion would have been across the 46 gamesTalal said:

Needless to say, I have had the last laugh.2

Kaminski had a strop at Oxford when he wasn’t brought back in to the team, apparently done an aerobic warm up and just left the pitch. Jones is not keen on him and his attitude and wants him out hence his reluctance to pick him but yesterday may force the issue .
Both pony like 95% of the squad jog em all on2 -
Think so, to make one error and cost us points is excusable, but two in a few games will cost him his place in the team.oohaahmortimer said:Kaminski had a strop at Oxford when he wasn’t brought back in to the team, apparently done an aerobic warm up and just left the pitch.
