West Ham been by far the better team but palace starting to threaten
can’t see West Ham breaking through at moment0 -
As long as it’s one of them…and Forest don’t meltMiserableoldgit said:0~0 61 minutes.
Personally not sure who I'd rather see relegated, Spuds or West Ham.
Spuds, one of the "Big 6", or the 'ammers 'cause of the Olympic Stadium rip~off.6 -
I really don't like West Ham, but find the concept of Spurs getting relegated far funnier and it would be a better away day.Miserableoldgit said:0~0 61 minutes.

FT 0~0.
Good point for the 'ammers.0 -
Good point for Westham given Palaces form. Westham have Leeds at home on the last day, surely they will be on the beach2
-
Spurs getting relegated is of course the dream, but West Ham in that stadium, in the Championship, would be very amusing.
Without the Premier League tourists, the London Stadium will be much emptier, and with even less atmosphere.1 -
If Spurs go down they would go straight back up. West Ham on the other hand with that empty ground could find it very difficult.3

Unless they're in the FA Cup final......robroy said:Good point for Westham given Palaces form. Westham have Leeds at home on the last day, surely they will be on the beach
In which case the first XI with be having a rest.

So, I guess we’re all Forest fans for a while? 😎4

Relegation is looking like it will go to the last day.
Forest i can see picking up 5 more points. Draw at Sunderland, draw v Newcastle, win v Bournemouth on the last day. That would take them to 41 points.
I can see West Ham getting at least 7 more points. Win v Everton, draw at Brentford, win v Leeds on the last day. That would take them to 40 points.
If the above happens then Spurs would need 9 points to go above West ham on GD.
Surely they win at Wolves, and i think they'll win on the last day v Everton. Which means they need to win 1 of Villa away, Leeds home, Chelsea away. Naturally they have to target that Leeds game. If they don't win that it'll be very difficult for them.1 -
Be interesting to see what happens with Wolves now they're relegated. Feels like the owners have got a bit bored and it's not really a squad that I would expect to bounce back. Signing Adam Armstrong in Jan was pretty much an admittance they knew they were down.1

In theory they should be ok because they're not really a team that are going to be dismantled. 1-2 might leave but overall teams aren't going to be queueing up to sign their players.MarcusH26 said:Be interesting to see what happens with Wolves now they're relegated. I think they've shown enough under Rob Edwards in the second half of this season to suggest they can compete at the top end of the Championship. Let's be honest if Millwall and Hull can be in the hunt for promotion, i'm sure Wolves can.
Southampton got 12 points in the PL last season and they look like going back up.3 -
Yup, with a smattering of Boro, Ipswich, and Shaktar Donetsklordromford said:So, I guess we’re all Forest fans for a while? 😎0 -

Brighton 1-0 up over Chelsea already. The way things are going, Chelsea could miss out on Europe entirely unless they win the FA Cup.3
-
The last time Chelsea lost five games in a row and failed to score in each of those was 114 years ago.
If only they'd outlaid a bit more than the £1.4 billion (£763 million net) they've spent in the last four seasons9 -
How many managers are they still paying too? They'll be paying off Roseniors silly 6 year deal next2

Chelsea didn't have a single shot on target and made three tackles in tonight's match.3

Surely he gets sacked this week now. If they go into the weekend with him in charge they're basically throwing away the cup semi final.0

Then let's hope they don't sack him until next week!Chris_from_Sidcup said:Surely he gets sacked this week now. If they go into the weekend with him in charge they're basically throwing away the cup semi final.2 -
After watching Wrexham's beat Oxford 1-0 and then a quick look to see Leicester relegated I saw Brighton score their 3rd and see Chelsea lose 5 games in a row with no goals scored.👏🏻
Excellent evening of football results.7 -

They won't pay him off but they will send him to one of their feeder clubs in Europe.2 -
They only have one other and I doubt they'll send him back to Strasbourg. Wouldn't bet against them buying another just to deal with the situation thoughsoapboxsam said:MarcusH26 said:How many managers are they still paying too? They'll be paying off Roseniors silly 6 year deal next

I was thinking about the Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem who were an unofficial feeder club where many young Chelsea players on their conveyor belt went to play from about 2010 until they went into administration in 2024.
I assume the American owner of Chelsea decided to end the relationship.

is Rosenior experimenting with Jones-Ball?0

Jesus wept.
Interview with Chalobah was painful viewing. Like a sullen teenager. Mumbling incoherently then saying “yeah” despondently.
Best bit was when he claimed the players “ran their socks off” and the interviewer pointed out that Brighton outran them by some distance, so no, they didn’t.
Hilarious.
I hope they keep Rosenior forever.5 -
Read a stat before the game - they have been outran by their opponents in every game this season. Not sure if it was just league games, but dreadful either way.lordromford said:Jesus wept.
