So, Bromley win the title. I am pleased for them, whatever anyone else thinks. Even if it is just for Alex Dyer...

They've had an amazing rise up through the Division's - Saw the stat recently, where they played their first season @ National League level when Leicester were winning the Premier League - Andy Woodman has done an amazing job there, pleased for him given he used to be our Goalkeeper coach. How much further can they go, probably League One is their level, they might get a season in the Championship but would compare them a bit to Yeovil when they reached that level and it basically broke them - How much longer can they keep Woodman.

They have advanced by keeping a consistent experienced team of NL/L2 players.  Consistency has done wonders for them and will be the reason why they stay up next year.  However,  the talent in the team is not anywhere near good enough to get to the championship. Given they will probably have one of the lowest budgets in L1,  their goal really should be staying on League one
  • Really pleased for Bromley. Had an old work mate who played for them many years ago when they were totally amateur and a glorified park team. Good for them,  hope they do well in L1

Watching my first League 2 game this season, Salford v Bromley and surprised how good the football is.
No worse than watching Charlton some games this season with same amount of shots on target 😀

    The Karl Robinson influence.....

In the Bromley area there are Millwall, Palace and plenty of Charlton fans plus Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs etc.
No need for the chips on both shoulders to come out yet again about the Hollywood clubs Wrexham and Bromley 😀

Andy Woodman has had an amazing run at Bromley over the last 5 years as manager after leaving his role as Goalkeeper coach at Arsenal.
His only experience as a manager was at Whitehawk, a club in Sussex.

At 54 Woody is riding a crest of a wave while his close buddies Pardew and Southgate are sitting back and enjoying their wealth.

    WTF?
They need to remember they're not non-league any more and start behaving like a Football league club.

Sums this lot up in a nut shell.

Anyone who still has 'affection' for them is very weird

Hopefully it won't take too long for them to slide back down to non-leagure obscurity where they belong.

Does anyone on CL especially the Bromley based Charlton fans know much about Robin Stanton Gleaves who now has 77% and is the owner and chairman of Bromley fc ?

I wonder if RSG is either a Millwall fan similar to Scallywag back in the day at Gillingham or is just being pragmatic because he wants more loans between the Kent club and the "No one like us" club ?
Bromley have also played on a connection with Palace which makes sense when Palace play away.
Charlton have had loans with Bromley with Deji being one before going on to Lincoln for a fee.

I know from the few games I went to there in the National League as it's a 15 minute drive from where I live and you could park right outside or in the car park if you got there early enough. I haven't been there since they got into League 2 but the fan base then came from so many different teams; the reason I know that is I talk to people 🗣️
I guess they have just fans who go to Bromley now since the two promotions.

Has anyone on here had any business associations with Robin Stanton Gleaves to shed some light on the successful Club that is Bromley Fc ?
