It looks like it may be the first time I go back to the Olympic stadium since 2012.

Gallagher goal reminded me of the goal he scored for CAFC against Derby I believe, early in that season when we won 3-0.
The strike as opposed to the skill in bringing the ball down.

Let’s not forget before Spurs imploded everyone was all over the idea of West Ham dropping

The downfall of Jadon Sancho should be studied. He has literally been stealing a living for about 3 years now.

I stand by my earlier position that I’d be happy with it being either of them. As long as it is one of them.
I will not be happy if Forest go down. And I don’t even like Forest.

Spurs going down would be much funnier ('How's your superleague?') but West Ham going down would provide a greater sense of natural justice. I hope Forest stay out of it.

They're a weird and unreliable team, Aston Villa.

I hope they lose to Notts Forest as punishment for bottling their semi against Crystal Palace last year.
Plus Forest winning the Europa League and Palace losing in the Conference League would be perfect.

Quite a Charlton performance with attempts on goal

I personally would like West Ham down, I think they would implode and not go straight up. Empty white elephant ground, disgruntled fans, lack of funding.

    Team - Played - Points - (GD)

    Forest - 34 - 39 - (-4)
    Spurs - 35 - 37 - (-9)

    West Ham - 35 - 36 - (-19)

West Ham: Arsenal (H), Newcastle (A), Leeds (H)

    Spurs: Leeds (H), Chelsea (A), Everton (H)

    Forest: Chelsea (A), Newcastle (H), Man U (A), Bournemouth (H)

Not looking good for West Ham. They could be four points adrift with two games left by this time next weekend.

All those people saying ‘Spurs have only got 4 points in 15 games, they ain’t gonna stay up’ can fuck right off. They are up.

I hope Villa gets thumped on Thursday by forest. Emrey changed the team and did nothing to turn the tide as the match went on. He and villa threw the match. If I was west ham or forest I would be livid.

completely agree, clubs that are safe have a duty of care to the other teams in the division, and the league itself to not hand any particular team in a relegation scrap easy points.

And Emery looks like The Child Catcher too.

Most managers would do the same. Safe in your league position with a huge game coming up Thursday.  Emery was never picking his strongest team. It's the way it goes.
Funniest things ng would be if Villa now lose anyway and then get ripped to a Champions League spot by Spurs next season assuming they stay up.
Ultimately West Ham have been poor all season and got battered in a must win game yesterday, if they are related the only team to blame is themselves

Start of the New Year the W Ham hierarchy said that next season would beca struggle due to the debt they have and it would be exacerbated if they got relegated with them having to sell quite a few players.
