Leaves them level with 4 games to go0

As long as it’s one of Spurs and West Ham that go down, I don’t mind which.
Spurs would be funnier because they’re perceived to be “big”, but West Ham would be more likely to completely implode as a club. And that would be hilarious.4 -
West Ham winner... Come on Wolves, do funny!!1

Wolves are too crap for that1 -
Soul crushing for the Spuds, finally win for the first time all year and West Ham go and score a last min winner2

How was that not hand ball by West Ham in the box? The guy put his hand forward and flicked the ball away!
There is not a problem with VAR but with the people in front of the screen!1 -
So there's a problem with VAR then!Kap10 said:How was that not hand ball by West Ham in the box? The guy put his hand forward and flicked the ball away!

Honestly, the times I read that there's no problem is laughable. The people in front of the screen ARE the VAR.1 -
Xavi Simons confirmed with ruptured ACL.
Think we can safely say now we are fucked. Thats our 4th creative player out with a serious knee injury.0 -
Gap is only 2 points so you're definitely not fucked yet.JohnBoyUK said:Xavi Simons confirmed with ruptured ACL.

You might even get a potential lifeline next weekend as you're playing away to Villa in between their two Europa semi's. Usually you'd have that as a home win, but with a CL place pretty much secured for Villa, there's a strong chance they will rotate for your game.0 -

If they win 1 game, Spurs need to win 2. If they win 2 games, Spurs are gone.1 -
they draw and spurs win, spurs go above them0

Multi club ownership worries: 25/26 edition0

Chelsea game is now being moved because they're in the Cup Final. Will be sometime in that last week of the season, which means we're likely to be playing after West Ham.0

If the FA Cup Final was the last match of the domestic season (lower league play-off finals notwithstanding) like it should be, this wouldn't be a problem because the league campaign would already be done and dusted.JohnBoyUK said:Chelsea game is now being moved because they're in the Cup Final. The way that article is worded irritates me. It describes clubs “racing to satisfy UEFA Bureaucrats” as if the whole situation should be blamed on some faceless, obstructive eurotwats.JustFloydRoad said:Multi club ownership worries: 25/26 edition
The rules are in place and the clubs know what the deal is. If any clubs fall foul of the rules because they didn’t stay the right side of them, they deserve the same treatment Palace got.
I’m not sure why these clubs are “racing” to sort the legalities out now anyway. Seems they could’ve done this when they first purchased a second club. Easy solution would be to not own multiple clubs. Which is the point of the rules.2 -

I have seen positive Video Assistant Ref decisions when they call the ref to have another look at decision's they make in a split second and correct those wrong decisions if it comes under the remit that VAR are given about an obvious error.
I still think VAR is useful for the shocking error like in the Cup game (No VAR in early round) when the handball was clearly in the area by a few yards even to the naked eye of everyone other than the ref and his Assistant who gave a free kick so far from where the defender handled the ball.
Gamesmanship is an art form in football and cheating is rife so it would be difficult to go back to the on field ref being the dole arbiter with the help of a 'lino'
Not coming to the Championship, anytime soon so not an issue for CAFC.

Sounds like Solanke is done for the season now too, hamstring injury.1
