Did like the Boreham Wood keepers name though.. Whatmuff.
Ah, I stand corrected. Great name.0 -
Two great saves in the first three pens. Man City loanee apparently. So that's where Citeh send the good ones.
If you want another reason to be happy for them, I read a tweet from an Aldershot fan who calculated for that league the away support as % of home support, and Dale came top with just under 20%. To put that in context we would have needed to take 4,000 away each week to hit 20%. And then when you think of some of the away journeys in that league., in midweek...
As said above, proper club, proper fans and like us, Southall survivors4 -

Same here. The pleasure of driving up, being caught in complete gridlock and only arriving at half time, to see a 1-0 defeat.
But it pales into insignificance when you see that the goalscorer who kept Rochdale up, had recovered from cancer for a second time to score a fairy tale winner, but later died when the cancer returned for a third time.

Rochdale left it very late but justice done after their final league position.

Great day out at Wembley yesterday with the Rochdale fans. Glad they went up but were lucky.. BW we're far the better and progressive team.
My record of never losing a play off final at Wembley that I have attended continues however this was the first time at the East end.
Rochdale keeper was great during the penalty shoot out.4 -
That keeper only turned 18 in the autumn…in the League team of the year apparently. One to watchChippycafc said:Great day out at Wembley yesterday with the Rochdale fans. Glad they went up but were lucky.. BW we're far the better and progressive team.

Anyone else going to the non league finals day on Sunday. Got a ticket for the Wealdstone section but wanted the Southend but none available.
Not bad for a tenner 2 finals.0 -
Im going on Sunday - will be wearing a Berwick strip so if youre going in a Blue Brazil strip Ill keep an eye out for you ! Going with a pal who goes every year, although its my first time, we are in a neutral area half way line second tier.
In a previous life I did see Morpeth v Hereford at these finals but was technically working1 -
This looks very dodgy.
Suspect a scam.
Furthermore, who would pay those prices?

The FA have released the allocations for next season for steps 1 to 6 of the Pyramid (National League down to South East Counties level). As usual, it's subject to appeals but won't change much.

Scott Wagstaff just signed for Dartford.

This month there has been a non league version of Wimbledon/MK Dons name change and relocation.
Eccleshill United have become Keighley Town and relocated from their traditional base in a Bradford suburb to Keighley. Eccleshill were bought last year by the owners of Keighley Cougars rugby league club and will start next season playing at the same stadium as the rugby team. Keighley has always been one of the largest towns in England to not have its own football club up until this point.
From the outside looking in would appear to have been a calculated move to engineer a football team in Keighley without having to start from scratch and will be interesting to see how successful the new team becomes. Based on population alone certainly has the potential for good support.1 -

I think it was the Rob Lee who played for Newcastle.
