For Miles, I think it’ll all be about pre season.

This pre season is huge for him, if he can become a bit of a c*nt and really start to impose himself and dominate centre halves is all down to him. He has the physicality and has a really good technique, players with less ability than him but more of a dog attitude have gone further in the game. His footballing ability is what it is, just don't want him to become a Ramprakash of a footballer. I don't give him a hard time as he has had two nasty injuries that I forgive him holding himself back mentally but this summer is now or never to show he is the massive bastard of a centre forward I think he can be or someone who gets 15 every season for Gillingham

Mbick, tough one, that injury came at the worst time for him, good time for us as I think he would have been off to Brighton and loaned out otherwise. He has everything physically just needs to apply himself like he clearly did at Colchester

I've rarely wanted a player to do it more than Miles, good news is he has the raw material, now all up to him
This is why having dykes around was really good. I think both Leaburn and kelman can see that if you’re more of a nuisance with defenders you’ll get more chances and it’ll help the team. Looked like the penny had dropped with Kelman against hull. Hopefully similar in pre season with miles.

I know other posters have called him mobile, at least for a target man, but I thought he looked too slow for the Championship last season. He needs to work on his pace/acceleration over the off season or he's going to struggle to make an impression next year.

I do not think he is suited to the N Jones type of team.
Not many players are.  Most would prefer to play proper football for a living or, at least, try to. Not the Welsh variant of British Bulldog.

I fancy Miles to get 10 goals next season, with any half decent service

He’s a target man he doesn’t need pace what he needs is to learn how to get better at linking up play and holding onto the ball not continuously trying to play like a winger, no one was saying Aneke needed to get faster

Would depend on number of starts. If he’s ever present then we need to do better than that.

He looked slow for oarts of the season and quick for other parts of the season. Not saying he couldn't do with a couple of yards of pace, who couldnt? But i think he has pace when just ordinarily fit and could have more. Needs to put himself about more

Miles looks like he’s always worried about getting injured .

Im pretty negative about most of our over hyped players but Leaburn to me has something there and I can see good things for him.
probably only Lloyd jones leaving would annoy me more than Leaburn going .
i fancy a big season for him next year , if fitness issues are avoided .
my outside bet for next seasons player of the season
