It was alright to start with.
When you start getting multiple sequences of dancing horses every episode, that’s when to stop watching.
    Gets steadily worse.

Much preferred the prequels 1883 and 1923.

Same - think I'm 4 episodes in and enjoying it. Think it will have some rewatch value to watch in colour as well, I've switched over a couple of times just to see the contrast and it's quite jarring as it looks so different in B+W to Colour and I find it difficult to adjust.

Can’t stand anything black and white, so watched it in colour. It’s good but just something about it hasn’t gripped me.

1883 is excellent. First season of 1923 is very good. Second season is laughably bad.

1883 was brutally harsh, got through it (and enjoyed it) but haven’t been able to bring myself to watch 1923!

That is such a shame, I loved 1883 and 1st series of 1923. Haven't seen the second but sounds like one not to bother with!

Dutton Ranch is good, the two lead actors stay within their characters which are fairly 2 dimensional and there is a gut punch of an episode. Its well shot, proper Taylor Sheridan stuff which is always entertaining. One of the actors from Generation Kill turns up as well which is welcome and Jai Courtney is hamming it up to warp factor 11

hated Beth in Yellowstone, one of the most toxic characters ever, but don't mind her in this.
Pity it is a weekly release

I loved her in Yellowstone, she got some great lines, especially when talking or arguing with her dad and Jamie.

Agree, she was noxious but that made her more endearing to me

Watched episode 1 of Cape Fear yesterday. Quite impressed - Javier Barden makes a fantastic baddy.

Also tried episode 1 of Star City (a spin off of For All Mankind, which is decent if you like sci-fi but not great). Not sure about it but good enough to carry on. Slightly weird seeing Motherland's Anne Maxwell Martin play a KGB colonel (quite chillingly)

The finale of 1923 season 2 is one of the stupidest episodes of tv I’ve ever watched.

Not new, but trending on Amazon.

Catch-22, a black comedy about a US air squadron based in Italy during WW2. Very good.

Beth Dutton is one of the worst characters in any TV show. She's completely ridiculous and irritating in equal measure

Yet you still watch it. She's great tv, but naturally Rip is the undoubted star.

I agree with @AllHailTheHen but I don’t still watch it.
I gave up on Yellowstone in part because of how loathsome all the characters are.
Haven't watched the new show. I’m pretty confident it’s either shit now or will become so by its second season because that’s true of everything Taylor Sheridan makes.
    Bloke’s an absolute prick.

If you're talking about Dutton Ranch I wont be touching it with a barge pole. Yellowstone became a slog in the end.

I stuck with that. I found it horrible to be honest and whilst the subject matter was always going to make it such I think Russel T Davies does as much harm as he does good with the last few things he has got on tv. Alan Cumming acted well and David Morrisey is always good but the rank stereotypes used for everyone who wasn't a gay or trans character went beyond what it needed to be and made it a bit of a sickening cartoon.

I understand it was not meant to be a soap opera and was prepared for the harder nature of it I just think the straight characters were deliberately made as 1 dimensional, bigoted and horrible to be honest as possible and then he made a lot of the other characters victims
