He revels in decimating US jobs, has this stupid notion of going to Mars and makes crap cars. In terms of Mars, it is a planet that is not hospitable, will likely men if you land there you have to stay there and won't herald interstellar space travel. It is a vanity project bit I would support it if he decides to go there. Before anybody says we can terraform Mars, why don't we sort this planet out, it has to be so much easier?5

Or remember a few years ago when Musk said to the UN if they could solve world hunger for $6bn he would sell Tesla stock to donate that cash to do it. They produced a fully costed, itemised proposal and he just went "Nah, don't fancy it anymore". Who on here wouldnt donate 0.5% of their net worth to end world hunger?

He is as obnoxious as everyone has pointed out but his wealth is not liquid, it’s tied up in what is to my mind, are some wildly overvalued equity holdings.He has a ridiculous cult of followers which inflates any of his company’s stock. It feels like institutional investors jump on the bandwagon to profit as well. None of the valuations seem to add up from what I can see. Value seems to be tied up in brand Musk. His genius was best put to the test by DOGE and it was an unmitigated failure.1
