When you celebrate your 48th wedding anniversary,
    Try your 61st 😀👍
Did you get your card from the King?
Still got a good few years to go 😁
I remember my Nan and Grandad receiving a royal telegram for their diamond anniversary about 50 years ago.  These days you have to apply on line to get a card - 60 years is enough ... ahem to apply.

In this heatwave you sit in a dark room with 2 fans on you moaning you feel crap. In 1976 I would be topless in my garden, no suncream., drinking the cheapest lager you could get your hands on!

When you watch an interview with Morgan Rogers and the first world cup he remembers watching is 2010.

Whilst driving in my car, for some reason Chanson d'Amour by Manhattan Transfer started playing.  Immediately, I found myself reaching for the stereo, not to turn it off but to turn it up.

Yes, I know. I remember it well. Just doesn’t seem like 56 years ago!

After the recent heat waves and with the prospect of more on the way , I've been looking at ways the get the house cooler.  After a quick search for solutions on the Internet,  it seems Only Fans is not quite what,  I thought it might be . Got me a bit hotter tbh .

When you start planning to record Mexico v England
  • When you're on a Metropolitan Line train going home after a nice afternoon down the pub with some old workmates and there are 90,000 young women going to a Harry Styles concert at Wembley and you realise most are young enough to be your grand-daughters!

When England World Cup fixtures are on at 1 o clock in the morning, and you think you’ll probably record it, and watch it, when you wake up instead.

When you rock up at the magnificent Charlton Museum and study the pictures adorning the walls, only to realise you were probably at a lot of the matches!
