When, if ever, will we get our £15 Valley Gold discount on our season tickets?

Not seen a timeline for the new membership scheme and the new season is a month away.

When, if ever, will they inform us if there are any changes to routes or timings on Valley Express? Had people's money but nothing forthcoming yet.

I think the membership fee will be £15, VG members will get it free.

Bit odd that you have to guess though, why haven’t they shared information on what this new scheme entails?

Probably because they haven’t thought it through.

Be fair.  It’s not a quick job to come up with marketing BS for justifying here’s some unimportant perks for things you used to get for free but probably don’t care about but now you have to pay for ! 😉😆

You’ll get a free sticker kit with your seat number on to add yourself at the first game. Will save them getting someone to do it.

This reminds me that I have to travel to the Valley to prove to the ticket staff that I qualify for my latest old git season ticket.

Why? Unless it's the first one at concession rates it should be automatically applied to renewals. Mine has been for the last 4 years since I first qualified.

The reason is for the first time the club has emailed me asking for proof.
Apart for two years under Roland (which I now regret) I have had a season ticket continually since 1971.

Don’t have much to add on the various schemes but wonder if a bit of the delays, poor messaging and general lack of coordination has been due to a gap in good marketing leadership. I know that the club have recently recruited a new head of marketing from another championship club, so perhaps another area this ownership are looking to fix and improve.

I seem to recall being asked for proof of age four years ago when I hit 65 - but I might be misremembering and perhaps they didn't even ask then. Never been asked since.

How many years you've been a ST holder is irrelevant - it's when you first tell them you are over 65.

Call the ticket office and ask them why you've been asked for proof of age when you've had an over 65 for some years. Or is this the first year you've qualified?

The ticket office made a mistake and sent out emails to ST holders who had already provided proof as well as to people qualifying for the first time, asking for proof of age.

It's been discussed and explained numerous times on another thread.

It was the club's mistake but it could easily be resolved by replying to the email or phoning.
