An absolute tank of a left footed centre back, who spent time at the Lyon academy. It is the new Nabywmcf123 said:
Christ , don’t excite Leuthsam3110 said:I liked him, a couple of underhit passes reminded me of Naby, and there was one point where Enslin was going to head the ball and Billy just thundered in and managed to head a through ball up the line to Tanto1 -
Leuth will love watching Billy and Collins in the back 3 😂0

Seems like a very level headed guy, funny too. Let’s hope he plays as well as he talks.1

brilliant interview, seems like a cracking lad1

Agree with the sentiments….. can’t put my finger on exactly why, and probably just going off my gut, but think he will be decent1

training every day with VVD and up against Salah/Firmino/Mane - can't be many better/tougher introductions3

Hope he's as good as he comes across, was a little tempered by Nathans comments after Dartford when asked about him he said something along the lines that he's not as good as Bell at some things but strong in other areas. I very much took that as physically there but technically not (yet hopefully). He'll deff be phased in throughout the season I would imagine, with an eye on next year and the year after if anything.0

If a 23 year old defender was as physically strong as Koumetio seems and as technically strong as Bell is there is no way we could afford him. That’s why we need to gamble on potentialscruffle said:Hope he's as good as he comes across, was a little tempered by Nathans comments after Dartford when asked about him he said something along the lines that he's not as good as Bell at some things but strong in other areas. His physique and technical ability is probably what got him into Lyon’s academy and later a move to Liverpool. He also used to play as a winger.fenaddick said:

Being a young defender I’d guess it’s more a question of consistency, reading the game well and not making mistakes that lead to goals.
I’m looking forward to seeing how he competes with Bell, it’s exciting that we have a player who could overtake one of last seasons best players if it works out as hoped.1 -
Well at least we know he's honest, he was very clear on that.fenaddick said:3 -
Didnt realise that Billy was 6ft5in... Never got the impression that Olly was short, but Billy towers over him0

He towered over Lloyd Jones at Dartford last week!ForeverAddickted said:Didnt realise that Billy was 6ft5in... Never got the impression that Olly was short, but Billy towers over him2 -
