Imagine being so inarticulate that Wayne Rooney has to decipher what you’re saying

Micah Richard’s makes a fair point too. We haven’t looked very good a lot of the time.

    Should Tuchel go?  Probably not.

Would I care if he did? Probably not.

We just went out of a semi final in the most gutless way possible.

Players shit themselves after we scored. Tuchel compounded it.

Didn't even give ourselves a chance on the counter. Left loads of space on the edge of the box.

All in a game we were controlling. Until we scored.

FFS, I’ve probably only got 2 more World Cups before I’m in a home sitting in my own piss. Were never going to win it in my lifetime

To be honest we only had 1 good game in this tournament, Croatia. Since then it's been workmanlike performances with wonder goals/moments getting us through games. We didn't really dominate any of the games, and never looked like World Cup winners. Spain and France are light years ahead of us.

Beaten by the better team. As soon as we went one up we dropped back and really did offer anything. In contrast they did, in bucket loads.
We have wasted players careers for as long as I have lived. We’ve had fantastic players but coaches have been 3rd class with the exception of Bobby Robson and Terry Venables.
Tuchel is another negative coach, defending and inviting on the other team is not much of a plan especially considering who we were playing.

Literally let them take pot shots, and then take some more, sitting so deep.FFS England, finding a way to lose again!!

Sounds daft perhaps but we scored too early. Tuchel immediately started changing it with a view to close things down. But the opposition aren’t a Mexico or Norway. They crank it up in the last quarter every game and Messi went to work and it was curtains for England.

In my opinion, yes, Tuchel has to go. This is totally on him. Playing a talented bunch of committed players like a non league club defending a fluke lead in the FA Cup.

I want to give them credit, they did very well getting through tough matches to get this far….

    But…..

When it’s come down to it, they got no closer than any other England side since 2018.

We were told Tuchel was hired to be braver than Southgate. To change and control games with subs. To press home advantages. But when it’s really really mattered, when England had a hard fought advantage to press home, it was the same old negative, scaredy cat shit.

The whole world could see it needed changing from about 65 minutes. That we needed hold up play and pace running the channels, but he brought on defenders and encouraged them to sit back.

No way Dan Burn needed to come on - he’s not how you stop tricky players like that and Argentina have quality that can score goals like they did if you try to defend the 6 yard box. Burn’s tournament should have ended at the Norway game.

It was 100% the same old shit from England for the last 30 minutes and as soon as they scored I knew we’d lose it before extra time because we’ve just seen it all before. It was just that same old shit but a round or two later that it used to be. And I can’t be too sympathetic of that.

We were losing to Spain anyway, but I’d have rather lost that than throw away a win against these c***s. I’ve been left with the same feeling as watching Charlton play at the Den.

I go back to the start,we should have took Harry Maguire, this defence had no idea how to defend that second half onslaught.our midfield tonight was outplayed,Gibbs White could have come in and caused them problems,Arnold could have played some long balls to make their defence turn,I dont remember Romero having to make a tackle. They could have scored 6 in that second half,Messi absolutely run the show.I agree with you other guys, why did we go so defensive,we just let them have the ball,do that with someone like Messi and you are asking for trouble.Look at the quality of crosses, every time they crossed a ball it caused us trouble, our crosses rarely got passed the first player.Oh well, thats that, been an entertaining few weeks.

Invited them on and got what we deserved, Tuchel  was  supposed to be the manager that wouldn’t do that shit
This is what I’m most disappointed in. Nothing has changed.

Kane sums up all that was wrong "once we went 1-0 up , we just tried to hold on which at this level is not enough".

After going 1-0 up, and then changing what was being successful is fucking insane, elite manager my arse.

Thing is they weren’t the better team for 60 mins, we allowed them to be. I don’t get managers, they think they’re too fucking intelligent for their own good

That’s the thing. We are all watching in the pub, on TV etc and we could see it coming a mile off. Why couldn’t Tommy Tickle?

Said that Mexico game would take every ounce out of us and so it proved.
Bellingham, Kane, Rice, Anderson... had nothing left in the tank in the second 45.
Tuchels lack of trust in any one else in the squad will be the rope that hangs him.. That and the selections themself

That said, Southern hemisphere world cups and Englishmen will never end well.

    Euros maybe??

Christ, two hours ago it was coming home, now the manager should be sacked.

You can't go five at the back when they are pushing their CBs into the last third. We had no threat.

Debatable if it’s more awkward to piss your own pants or have to watch a group of fit young men collectively piss theirs.

Imagine getting rid of Southgate just to lose playing Southgateball.
