Just admit that we were beaten by a better team

    Totally agree

I think we were the better team until we scored, standard England vs good oppo

It’s a shame, Tuchel seemed to have taken the Southgate approach of being hard to beat and picking a squad to suit the tournament not just the best players, but with far better in-game management than Southgate had. He’d been good up to this point with how he managed the games against DR Congo, Mexico and Norway but he got this one so wrong. Not only was it hard to watch the team trying to protect a lead for that long but they were 10 yards too deep doing it. There were so many warning signs but no changes and then we were so unbalanced at the end when we needed a goal the strategy was focused on Konsa putting crosses into the box.

On the plus side I have a hospital appointment on Monday so that bank holiday was lost on me anyway. Every cloud
Normally you suck jones off week after week playing this shit type of football. Come to England you change your mind 😂
What a weird thing to post

    They're not though, are they?

    Bad luck.

They have just qualified for the world cup final. A huge achievement. And they pull that.

Now on here many would righfully say football has nothing to do with war and politics.

But the hilarious thing is that, for them, it obviously does. They win a game, and it is STILL the first thing on their minds.

So I take great pleasure in reminding them that they will NEVER EVER own the Falklands. And we all know what happened when they tried.

Nothing can EVER change that and they HATE it.

Thought we actually battled much better in the Euro final vs Spain and the 2022 QF against France under Southgate.

Argentina were our first real test and we couldn’t get it across the line again.

When I look at it that way, I think Tuchel has to go.

Argentina players parade Las Malvinas is Argentine flag after knocking England out of World Cup

Brave boys holding up signs and singing songs.

They're right across the water, Argentina... If they're yours, come and get them.
I'd take an F-35 over a two bob sign, and a few whining football players any day of the week.

Imagine Kane holding up a banner saying two world wars and one World Cup.

Theyre absolutely classless humans and their fans encourage it.

    Awful nation.

Also wtf happened to Pickford, those last two goals he was all over the place?! He’s lost his head completely. Harsh on Tuchel, I get the pelters on defence and I think his big mistake was putting Burn on. Yes he’s great in the last two but against technical teams he’s exposed, hugely, the old big English lad wasn’t the option in this game. We needed pace and counter threat but we had none so the Argies knew they could camp as we had no output
Are you seriously blaming Pickford for those two goals…….you must be fucking joking pal.😡

They have actually played right into our hands with that banner. They have proven what is more important to them. In one of the finest sporting moments a country can have, they have proven thats most important to them. I said it all along.

So come on Argentina - what happened the last time you tried to take them? Ran back with a bloody nose and their tails between their legs.

Pickford has been superb for England. I challenge anyone to name a more consistent goalkeeper for us since David Seaman.

Easily the best goalie we’ve ever had.

macallister should find himself another club - not in england - argentina should understand that we have won wars against most countries in the world and stop bleating on like a gang of schoolgirls - we will win the world cup soon, once we have a manager who stops bottling it when we go in front !!!!!!!
Tbf to Mac Allister, he's standing away from the sign and his family have been vocal about not joining in with the anti English sentiment that prevails in Argentina.

The rest of them can go fuck themselves.

Country of colonialists that pretend they're the victims.

What makes it’s worse is half the pricks earn their wedge in England.

id be ashamed if one our players was involved in that.

Very disappointed.  Not gonna repeat what most are saying as I completely agree - Tuchel's decisions lost us that.  Now its Viva Espana for me.

Gordon is our fittest player, had scored and was working well with Spence, so Tuchel takes him off.
Both Argentinian CB were on Yellow cards But Tuchel decides to retreat and try to defend against the WC holders for over 30 minutes when that's exactly what they wanted him to do.

Argentina couldn't believe their luck when England camped around our box and INVITED pressure.

Feel gutted for Bellingham, Kane, Gordon and Anderson who had really good tournaments even if Kane could have been subbed for Watkins for fresh legs with 25 minutes to go.

Konsa for Gordon sent out a terrible message to the players which I agree with Rooney when he said that.

Is this some sort of woosh????

    Am I miss remembering it????

Did they not fold and surrender in 1982????

    Yeah, thought so -

To be fair Tuchels squad selection and managment has been pretty sloppy.
It's clear he had no faith in half of them once we'd settled in the US.
The question has to be why?

They much prefer to stick to the anti English sentiment than prevails in Scotland and Ireland.

I don’t agree with that. Spence was a ‘bad’ choice but he was our best player.

Tonight was all about in game management where he’s meant to excel and it was a complete failure.

Tone deaf from all the Premier League clubs congratulating their Argentinians for getting to the final. Hope the racist toerag Enzo Fernandez gets the Cristiano Ronaldo 2006 treatment.

I’m not blaming Pickford, read it, but he was all over the place, watch his positioning and decision making. He’s been great but he’s become erratic and it unsettles defences when he needs to be stronger.

    Pure total and utter scum.

Happy to come and play and get paid in our country though, if that’s how they feel, fuck them off.
I’ve been defending them but I agree with you, and my Argentinian wife thinks they're stupid too.

When they won the tournament in 2022, Brighton had a great celebratory welcome back for Alexis MacAllister. He and other Argentinians have been treated with more than just respect.  Now they should be made to feel ashamed of themselves, making nonsensical political statements against the people who pay their huge salaries and support them. I hope fans boo MacAlllister and Romero next season.

I’m surprised Henderson didn’t get some minutes there at the end. Just to confirm what absolute crap squad we took.
The FA haven’t worked out what I know is glaring obvious; you don’t need to pay anyone millions per year to get an England team to play in a style that doesn’t get results. You could get a coach from the national league with better tactics than Tuchel or just tell the players go out and do whatever you want.
If ever there is a situation where the coach should get the sack I saw it over the tournament, we could have lost each game we played but we got lucky in every single one of them bar tonight.
Burns, another player who shouldn’t have been near the squad, comes on and offers less than the players coming off. Kane cannot be subbed just in case the shite game he’s having gets turned around, although I don’t think he’s entirely to blame, our best forwards along with
Bellingham not having a scrap to play with from the 56th minute onwards.

eh... - don't think we got cheated out of this one tbh - they were dodgy first half and should have had more bookings but it wasn't on the argentina 86 or 98 or ronaldo winking levels. Much like the euro final v italy and croatia semi we did it to ourslves

Can you name a more consistent England goalkeeper then... Given it's been about 25 years since Seaman.
