Realising that all traces of a sad, desperate little troll have been replaced with multiple “Unknown” labels.

Satisfying and amusing, because what he is was very much “known”.
    I don't.
    He was a troll. 🧌
I thought that was obvious? 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Sorry, I meant I don't know who.
    Oh I see. Sorry.
To be honest, I’d rather not give him the oxygen of attention. I can PM you if you like, but he really wasn’t worthy of your time.

A specific thing that didn't amuse me at the time, but does looking back: Whilst  we were on holiday recently, I had a new EV charger fitted. We came home on Friday afternoon and I could hear a very loud, very annoying ticking sound in our garage where the electric meter and fuse box are. I was naturally worried that, after the work done, there must be something wrong with the electrics. Having bad hearing though, I couldn't quite pinpoint the source of the sound. I spent ages stumbling around in what's essentially a room full of junk trying to locate the problem. After a long, frustrating and fruitless search I went upstairs and asked my son if he knew anything about the source of the ticking. "Oh yes" he said, "that'll be my motorbike screamer. It's telling me that the battery has run out, but I don't know how to change it so I hid it in the garage to try and stop the noise". Thanks son!

I have been watching the Chris Packham programme on Evolution on Ch5 and last night he explained that in the evolution of our species, the anus came well before the brain.  I think that might explain a lot about today's society, especially when it comes to American politicians.

This is the first display I saw as I walked through the door of my local builders merchant this morning: Woolly socks, rain suits and packs of 'Winter Essentials' whatever that means. I can't help but think someone would benefit from a bit more thought to product placement.

I bought a punnet of "Taste the Difference" strawberries Saturday. I didn't bother looking at them, just put them in the barrow. Got home and my wife gets to unpacking the shopping enquires, "How much have you paid for 7 strawberries? Thats ridiculous, 7 of them, come on how much? "
Not knowing I look at the receipt, I didn't scan them, I've mistakenly stole them. All of a sudden 7 strawberries isn't such a bad buy.

People who don't know how average speed cameras work and think that slamming on the anchors when they are just coming up on a camera is going to help.

Turning on the radio and the first words you here are, 'Millwall have had their faces slapped'.

5 Live just reported on the Tupac trial by playing 30 seconds of a Dr Dre verse and then saying “the trial of this man” 🤦🏼‍♂️ How hard is it to check things like that these days?!

I just bomb along at 80 and then park up at the exit for 10 minutes

I got stopped by the police for doing 80mph. I said, 'yeah, but I'm not planning on being out that long'.  Thanks to Steven Wright for the joke.

and who follow you four foot from your bumper when you are doing the average speed to get you to go faster, then when you pull over they don't speed up. Why hassle you?

My parents came to visit today, and me and my Dad were playing with my Son... Hiding... trying to make each jump without the other person realising we were there etc. - I thought it would be clever to hide in our basement, as its a rarely used hiding spot. Only my Son (hiding upstairs) heard me open the basement door, so knew where I'd gone... Crept downstairs and put the latch on the basement door - So not only could I not jump out on him... I couldn't get out the bloody basement :D
Found his quick / evil thinking, bloody hilarious

  • I've noticed recently when a young person approaches you whilst studying their mobile phone, it's best to carry on regardless and not deviate your step.

They have inbuilt sensors to guide themselves around you - there is no looking up or acknowledgement whatsoever.  It's a kind of artificial intelligence/ignorance

Watching the BBC news with the reporter at Heathrow, stating there’s no planes taking off or landing, as a plane is clearly seen flying behind and to the right of her head. Made me smile, but I’m not stuck at the airport.

Getting a recommendation from AliExpress for a fleshlight for horses... Best compliment I've ever received!!
  • Watched the latter stages of tonight's Dorking Wanderers v Chelmsford match which ended 3-3 ...the same as DW's match on Saturday.

I understand that a certain ex Addick took the field at some point in the 2nd half although it was somewhat difficult to spot him.

Until I spied a blond blob, struggling to hold off a defender somewhat clumsily, then throwing up his arms in frustration in a toddler like strop. He may have even stamped his feet.

Slow, heavy ( hardly a"shadow "of his former self!) ,devoid of skill and speed....Bless !

How the high & mighty have fallen.  B)

when their brain isn't working, vocal facility shut down, peripheral eyesight limited, earphones shutting off extraneous sound, then their sense if smell is enhanced. I would guess the old deodorant ain't quite cutting the mustard🤢😉

I loved Simple Minds in the 80's & saw them a few times.
But their music feels a bit dated these days and Kerr's voice isn't as good.
    I still watched it though.

We saw them last summer at Lincoln Castle and I thought he sounded very strong. Perhaps he was late in a tour and showing signs of voice fatigue for the BBC thing. Mrs Idle likes them more than I do, but seeing as she also dragged me to a Capaldi concert (f***ing awful) I'll take SM any day.
