Showing a bit of a lack of imagination there imo. He could be toed to a rack and for each donation of 10p to FIFA, the rack extends by 0.0001 mm. £10,000 is a mm (i think) so £10m should be enough to pull his arms and legs off.

Quoted from the BBC report, this is EUFA's response to FIFA about their proposals.

"Uefa's request for all documents regarding the investment plan, included "email, instant messages (WhatsApp, Signal, Teams, Slack or any other platform), SMS, written correspondence and meeting notes", and those which involved "any Fifa officer, employee, committee member, consultant or agent, or any Fifa member association, confederation, broadcaster, sponsor, or financial institution".

In reference to the 19 September deadline, Uefa added it wanted documents to be retained "relating to the payment structure for Fifa member associations, including the design, modelling, legal basis, approval and communications to member associations".

Uefa asked Infantino to acknowledge receipt of its letter in writing within five business days, to confirm he had "received and understood this notice" and that he has "taken immediate steps to preserve relevant materials as required".

Infantino vows to carry on.

What has FIFA become when someone so openly corrupt can just carry on.  Absolute shambles.  It's (another) sad moment for football.  The likes of Arsene Wenger surprise me they want their name attached to the organisation in any way at all.

You just need the corrupt smaller federations which you are over generous to and where differing amounts get passed down to the grass roots but their officials are ultimately enriched. You are creating a corrupt dependency. Infantino himself is a corrupt dependency so will always put himself and his enrichment before the game. FIFA is also a closed shop so you get rid of him and you probably just get another one. It needs breaking up and starting again. Making Infantino and his mates richer is one of the reasons for totally following money. FIFA can basically print money but its success shouldn't be judged on how much money it makes. It is how it governs the game which the World Cup, whilst successful, demonstrated massive issues and unfairness. FIFA either has to be marginalised or break up from the inside which would mean there being a lot of turkey's voting for Christmas.

I think forming an alternative to FIFA is the answer although UEFA whilst better is far from perfect. The aternative has to be set up to prevent massive power and opportunities for enrichment for its members. It needs to be collborative. Then federations need to pull out of FIFA. The advantage they have is whilst the smaller countries have votes they don't have power from their status. It sounds harsh but over time FIFA would be decapitated and there would initially be an alternative World cup for those that leave FIFA. Unlikely but I think that is the answer. I can't see UEFA creating a perfect alternative as it would highlight its own imperfections which we all know are many.
