I think Okonkwo has been unfairly treated by Wrexham. They tried to replace him with Ward last season and he ended up playing most of their games. From what I've seen he'd be an improvement and has room to get better too. Their fans love him.20

Not trying to piss on the fireworks but it’s not going to be “a couple of grand” it’s likely Burnley can offer probably double what we can. It might well be a mistake for him to go there but in the end it’ll come down to money.AberystwythAddick said:

One of Mannions main issue is his distribution and is also a young keeper, again I’ll pose the question is it truly an upgrade on what we have? Again I’m not a Wrexham fan but from what I have seen from televised games etc I’d equate them ie both upper L1 players. Agree id rather Wickens or Walton.As per CL tradition of old players, how did Bradley do last year? Chance of a loan or perm next?0

If JRS does sign for us I reckon the fee will be something like 4 million up front with rest as possible add ons.

28 isn’t old I grant you (especially for a keeper), but Mannion’s not a young player with time on his side like Okonkwo is.6 -
Kaminski is now 3rd choice CAFC Keeper; or at least he was on Saturday according to Nathan.
Strong rumours is Thomas is unsettled and would prefer a move to a foreign Country.
Okonkwo is now 3rd choice keeper for Wrexham; or at least he was on Saturday.
We do a swap deal as Wrexham can afford to pay Kaminski the same as at CAFC and he will be 2nd choice and available if injury to Patterson occurs.
Danny Ward may move on.
Arthur Okonkwo could come to CAFC and Challenge for the Shirt and as Mannion is quite erratic, could get his chance fairly quickly.
What ever Arthur's wages are ? if he was really successful at Charlton we could be a stepping stone to riches as he still 24 opposed to TK 33.
So the solution to this issue is both keepers move abroad !
Wrexham should do a straight swap and just have a good percentage on any further transfer.

Not helped by Carey spending most of the time as a forward - he was nearly always further up the field than Grant and TC.Southbank said:The problem we currently have is still the lack of a pivot in midfield. I'd imagine McCowatt is just one of the many irons in the fire, alongside JRS and Roberts.

You’ve got to think that if we want JRS we’ll get him. No way in the world is the fee ‘out of reach’ - it won’t be more than £3-4m in the contract context and I’m sure we can afford his wages if we want to.For familiarity and geography, Burnley can’t compete. Pure guess work but I suspect it happens over the next week.1

Jones has said he knows the player he wants for the right side role. That surely means they believe they can get him in a financial sense otherwise why continue to pursue them.
