Just a few seasons ago Peterborough were finishing above us and playing Championship football while being honest, mullering us most times we played them and in a better position as a club. (Dreadful how low we stooped)

Now none of their players have significant transfer market value, and their owner is a nob. Feel very grateful for Jones and our owners in times like these.

Yeah I've got a friend that's a posh fan and he just wants DMac gone and proper owners.

I’ve never heard of a situation in football where sell on’s stay active past the club you’ve sold the player to I very much doubt this is the case.

Would that even be possible under contract law? Sounds like one of those football messages board ideas that don’t actually exist in real life. Like “pay as you play” contracts and players signing on the pitch on a match day. 

Doubt it would be imagine if ur villa in that situation as well and uve just been told by the way 10-20% of the profit have to go a club you haven’t even dealt with for this player 

I could see it perhaps being possible that Villa might negotiate a discount from Brentford to taking on the original sell on clause and Brentford negotiating with us to allow Villa to do that on the gamble we might get more in the long run, but I don’t think there’s any way that Brentford and us could negotiate a clause that effectively becomes permanently attached to the player for the rest of his career. Why would the player agree to that, for a starters? Imagine having your dream move to Real Madrid collapse because Brentford promised 15% of the fee to Charlton 3 transfers ago and Real won’t pay the extra?

Based on Danny Mc's first few games I wouldn't be starting Ramsay (when fit) until he commits his future to us personally.

Completely agree, I'd even go as far as to say McNamara looks a better full back than Ramsey. 

Judge McNamara when he has a really good Championship winger against him.
Danny is decent but I would need to see him in different scenarios to say he's better than Ramsay who in the majority of games has been excellent.

After his two games against Millwall he isn't on the same high pedestal with CAFC fans  as he was before.

I was a poster that would point out some of his weaknesses pre Millwall but I still think Kayne  is an excellent Championship player that I would like to see stay.

That is how I see it. Kayne is very important for us in bringing the ball forwards and getting us out of the press, I don't see that in Danny. 

Ramsay in a flat back 4 could be a very important player for us, there was times at the weekend where we struggled on that side to get the ball moving, how many times have we seen Kayne glide down the wing, move it into the middle and got the team moving.

I'd be delighted if Ramsay stays. He isn't the finished article, but has a great chance to progress here and we also would benefit from him to progress as a club.

For the record I think Ramsay is the better player. Just don't think we should be playing a player that has no intention of being here next summer (if he doesn't sign a new deal). Ramsay is good but hardly pivotal.
