Congrats to the lad and I have no doubt he will be a regular 1st team player for us in the next couple of years

Good of them to actually announce this one after the secret Kanu extension! I'm slightly surprised it's only 3 years not 4

I'm feeling left out here. I don't know anything about Skipp and so have no opinion about him. I'll put my trust in NJ and hope for the best.

    Very. 6 hours early.

Imagine the meltdown on here if NJ has decided to spend the JRS money on Skipp's £50k a week wages for one year!
As if we or anybody are going to be picking up the full £50k a week. Leicester will be picking up most of it. Even if it’s a permanent transfer I should imagine they would need to pay a sizeable amount to him. He doesn’t want to play league 1 football, they don’t want him and can’t afford to be paying that kind of money.
I know, I just wanted to pour petrol over the meltdown. I can't see us paying more than £20k a week from our side. Surely Leicester would have a clause that his wages would reduce when relegated, oh hang on... it's Leicester.

You won’t be saying that at half 10 when Aiden Mcgeedy and David Davis sign on 4 year deals!

Glad Fullah got an extension - think he has potential and will either earn us some money in a transfer fee or may even crack getting into the first team squad.

Given time and experience he could be a 10 in a similar way Grant is. Mobile, can pass and score.

Imagine being in league 1, consecutive relegations, Russell Martin as manager and paying £30k a week to a bloke who goes on to win the Championship this season.

I think Mwamba coming through and looking so assured hasn't helped there, last season if we needed an Academy player to step up and come in Fullah was that man, less so now and having two of them probably isn't needed.

It's not like Fullah isnt still a great prospect in his own right either so hopefully the loan benefits him.

Wonder what is gonna happen to JRS....... This mess has totally done him up like a kipper. Surely no English club will push ahead with it if we walked away due to valid reasons.
Got a horrible feeling he’ll end up at Millwall as Azeez replacement

Looks like they're getting Esse back on loan from the Nigel's instead of JRS

Not if the agent / medical stuff is true surely. They are pretty well run as a club now.
it is entirely possible that we pulled out of the deal as we had to spend wage buget on center back and the reasons are not entirely valid / a lie of course and he ends up with the 'wall.

If you're struggling to contribute have you considered calling another poster a helmet for no reason?

8 months ago, LCFC views on Skipp were very different. Amazing what a screwed up club and successive relegations can do for a fans perspective:

I'd imagine most commenters dont ala Holsgrove. Just find some wanky stats and join one of the dullard negative/ aggressive positive crews and go crazy.

Just perhaps it was the club that was in a massive downside most players at Leicester have not performed to their protental .. he was highly regarded at Spurs

In terms of squad size yes, but they play very different roles.
