I think Leicester are an entitled fan base after winning the prem with Ranieri who they then sacked soon after. We had their pants down with Yann, so he might be decent.3

My view is, the owners don't want to keep having to fund transfers and/or want there to be a bigger transfer kitty in 2/3 years time. So we are buying young players with potential so that we can sell on for £5m/£10m/£15m in the future. Azeez at Millwall being the latest example of that.
Will it work....who knows. Is it a gamble.....most definitely. It didn't work with Kahim Dixon and to a lesser extent Tanto & Apter.
I liked the look of him on the YouTube clip posted earlier, but he himself says he is a left winger who likes to cut inside. In the YouTube video he is shown playing on the right and it does look like he is predominantly right footed. Will he be the answer to our right wing woes ? Probabky not as a starter, which is a shame because neither TC nor Grant work playing on the right.
It might work out but it is far from what is needed and what we've been led to believe we've been keeping our powder dry for.

If he joins, let’s at least give him a chance. You need a strong squad to compete in the Championship, and he could become an important player for us.
Chalobah is injury-prone, Mwamba is still just a kid, and Ouma needs time to get up to speed, so I’m not surprised we’ve strengthened in that area.
We should trust NJ and Phil C’s judgement

People said the exact same thing about Coady. Past it, only interested in picking up a paycheck and doing his media appearances. Turned out to be totally committed and worked his arse off for the team. I'm willing to trust Jones and his judgment of player over the perceptions we've built off angry Leicester fans complaining. Completely disagree. After the spurs game it was clear we were a quality CM light. We had Coventry plus Challobah (only going to be fit part of the time), Ouma (clearly needs time to adjust) and Mwamba (young and therefore going to have fluctuating form).Covered_End_Lad said:Agree that the Skipp signing feels like Chalobah might be out for a while
Those 3 together only add up to 2 full players, so with Cov we're a player short of having 2 for each position.
Obviously that discounts Doc and JRC, but I think we can all agree we don't want them starting games.

All the criticisms aimed at Skipp are basically jet-fuelled versions of the Coventry slander so I'm expecting them to be more or less the same sort of player4

Very easy to jump on the bandwagon that Leicester Fans try to portray, that he’s lazy, and is a total waste of time.NJ doesn’t stand for any of that, and I’m sure he will drum that into Skipp before he signs the dotted line.Geezer was on the cusp of England squads when he was at Spurs, one of Norwich’s best players when he was with them.
Very intelligent and classy footballer if he’s got that drive.Don’t write him off, no one would want to play for Leicester right now, they’re a sinking ship.Get behind him and I’m sure he will deliver10 -

At the end of the day its only a loan. Outlay being a loan fee & contribution to wages ? Probably what we would have paid for JRS.

A lot of their players (rightly), got stick for the club’s fall from grace and I think that unless Skipp is simply looking at monetary gain for the rest of his career, he needs to grab this opportunity with both hands. Who knows2 -
