Good god we have some miserable fucking fans.
We really do. It just suck to get that down about a scrappy point with a patched together side

Take the point but we played like we were away from home and down to 10 men.

We have another season of a completely ineffective midfield and a squad which is made of glass.

Boring sideways, backwards football. Another awful set of officials.

That will get the crowds flooding back!
Yea we should’ve gone for it and lost 0-3

Congratulations Nathan . You got your 0-0 you were obviously after .
God help any neutrals that decided to watch that drudgery.
Well Football is a results business and to get a clean sheet after the absolute buggering we took last game was a result.

JRC's legs move like he's running but he doesn't actually move forward very quickly

Thought Skipp looked ok, Binden atill making too manh mistakes, hopefully irons them out as he has some good play as well. Hope Leaburn's not too bad.

Shite watch that will live about 5 mins in the memory, bit of a waste of everyone's time.

Decent point against a good side, both teams injury ravaged with important players  missing but us with more first teamers out.

Will be better contests when we have half as many injuries

Performance wise, feels like a continuation towards the later part of last season where we were just scrapping for points to get us over the line.

Did you not watch that game for 90 mins?

I've got a colonoscopy next week - it's gonna be more enjoyable looking at the inside of my arse on a TV screen than what we watched then.

I know it's been a lot of games in a short space of time but isn't it a little concerning that we look so knackered this early into the season?

jones was completely outclassed tatically, just lucky qpr were toothless in front of goal
Genuinely what did you expect him to do? Take the game to in form QPR with literally half our squad out injured.

    pack it in
You do know QPR have got as many injuries as we have?

Jones hasn't covered himself in glory tonight with his tactics and not changing things earlier.

Disappointing again that Nkeng or Knibbs weren't given a chance. Charlie Kelman is going to have to play Saturday. We don't have the luxury of waiting until the international break.
I’d personally prefer Kelman to be fully fit before playing games
We have one other fit striker. Kelman has supposedly trained all week, how long do we have to give him?
Why risk him if he’s not fully ready yet?

It’s a long season and we need him fit for most of it.

It was well earnt point that much can be said.

I'm not sure why but we keep panicking on the ball and not picking the obvious pass at times or going backwards, we have players with the technical ability but it's frustrating to watch!

We should have one goal at least, TC was onside. And that decision not to give a foul for the pull on Grant was a shocker, sending off aswell id have thought.

Skipp looked better. Mbick showed some nice touches.

Frustrating that it seems like the striker revolving door now means Leaburn is injured whilst Kelman comes back, Mbick starting against Pompey at this rate.

I know it's an obvious comment but we have to do better, we can't keeping hanging on for dear life on the hope we can nick a goal on the counter.

We looked knackered because we were chasing shadows for 80 mins. They pinged the ball around and we chased it.
That’s why we were so legging near the end.

Could someone please explain why we can’t find our midfielders with passes in between the lines when they can turn and threaten, other teams do it much more easily.
    Because we lack quality players.

I think we should let the EFL know that we accept voluntary relegation because we're clearly not good enough!

Some of you really, really need to get a grip, most of you seemed happier when were playing the likes of Exeter and Shrewsbury and lining up with Terell fucking Thomas at left-back. I'm not saying we were brilliant on the ball tonight and it would have been nice maybe seeing a little bit more going forward, we are playing some proper good sides here.

I watched a patched together team get a poing with 9 first team players out through injury.

It was not pretty but I’m not going to chuck myself off a bridge having got 11 points already this year.
Whose the 9 players who come back into that first team?

  • Good point
    Excruciating watch (although strangely enjoyable)
Got to see the context of the injuries.
    Team dug in well.

    Now let’s beat Pompey!

    COYR!

    nah not gonna happen
  • I do think that this string of games has been pretty ruthless. So I can understand the tiredness of the team.

I’m not sold on Skipp and the lack of a first string right winger is going to impact us significantly over the first half of the season.
I thought he did well tonight . Bell is the one that worries me at the moment. He looks knackered
Perhaps I was harsh on him, my issue I think is him and Cov as a two, it’s giving me dobbo and Cov vibes

And QPR have spent years in this division building their squad whereas we're still pretty fresh back and have a team that's largely been built this summer then ravaged by injuries.

This is the latest I could find for their injuries... Some of those played today - So I disagree they have as many as us.
