The constant whining and whinging on here about referees is really tiresome. I haven't seen too many goals scored by the ref against us. Most fans don't even understand the laws of the game.

The supporters who decided to stay away tonight were the only winners. Staggeringly small crowd to watch a game that could have seen us go top.

The whole point of football is that try to score a goal. If the other team is better than you, then so be it.
But QPR weren't better than us. They had players out injured & were there to be beaten. Sadly we didn't even try.
How comes we let them come at us like their at home then?
I'm with golfie on this - we didn't try to play on the front foot at all. We relied solely on the tactic of catching them on the break.
It's supposed to be entertainment. Watching Charlton now feels like an obligation.

I’m happy to take that point and the clean sheet. For all their superior play and domination Arthur had two saves to make.In Glenn Kamara they had the best player on the pitch by far. Add Lamptey, Cerkin, Charles and they have players that are simply above the calibre of ours. We can’t ignore the fact that our squad in terms of individual ability and experience is simply not close to QPRs.
With the injuries at the moment Jones is not going to play expansive football. That would be madness and we’d get ripped apart.And we’d moan about that and plead for ‘going back to the basics.’ Which we did today very much in the Curbishley mould of just resetting after a heavy defeat.
Portsmouth is the more winnable game of the two. Yeah it's a worry if we're back to TC is the only outlet. The No10 I wonder if it was something pre Sichenje injury we were looking to do but as NJ said post Spurs we had to pivot.Southbank said:

5th after 6 games. The 3 teams directly below us have only played 5. I really hope we can figure out a way to start involving Skipp and Coventry more in games because it will make such a big difference.Regardless though we're 5th after 6 games, 2 points off the top and if you take away the Stoke aberration we've got 5 points off the teams currently in 1st, 2nd and 4th. That's a pretty good start.

We started with 9 players unavailable and then our only striker gets injured. We were playing a team that moved the ball well and had lots of players very comfortable with ball at feet.We had players playing out of position, players playing who aren’t yet ready, changed formation about 6 times to try and combat them.At the end of the day we battled throughout against a team currently better than us. One point gained for us, two points dropped for them.We need this international break badly40 -

A frustrating night against a decent side, but we didn’t lose. We have a lot of injuries to key players and had to put out a makeshift defence, but we didn’t lose. The one big refereeing decision went against us tonight, but we didn’t lose. It might not excite everyone but for a year or two (at least) we have to accept our place in the food chain and know that sometimes playing for a point (and getting it!) is acceptableWe are six games in. We are unbeaten at home. We are fifth in the league. Record: W 3 D 2 L 1. I’d have taken that if you offered me it after we lost 0-3 to Reading. It’s ok to be annoyed and frustrated, but surely we’ve learnt by now not to throw the baby out with the bath water?7

I thought that we held our own in the first half until Leaburn came off , but the worse decision was bringing JRC on . as its like playing with 10 men, no effort (or just cant run ) and touched the ball about 6 times in the half. Should have brought on Mbick straight away and kept our formation or bring on Knibbs . but not JRC.0

That was absolute shite. We crossed the line from being a dogged competitive side to just being straight up negative.Yes another point on the board but my god, did we know we were playing QPR and not prime Barcelona….at home.

In modern football, it's a team game whereby coaches and managers use 15 or 16 players across the 90 minutes to win a football match.2 -

Normally agree with pretty much everything you say on here boss but of those nine players how many would have started and added the quality and creativity we were sorely lacking tonight.Forget the defence as we kept a clean sheet to earn the point.I’d say Chabolah but is there anybody else who would have made a difference?Godden and Kelman are ‘Fox in the Box’ types so don’t see them doing much in a side that only has 25% possession at home1 -
