    Just seems crazy. I can only think it was about bonus points and giving themselves time. Absolutely backfired.

    Cook has confirmed on commentary that the rationale was to have one overseas for the season, Dudgeon and then fill that second spot with other players. Ahmed's wife lives in London as she is studying and spends a lot of time here. Bangladesh want to send a high performance team to play Kent 2s and it sounds as if we are looking to re-sign Ahmed next season but that is dependent on the approval of his international board. Bangladesh have a Test series that finishes at the end of May but he should be available from then on.

    I thought "The Hundred" referred to the number of days between proper and meaningful cricket.
