When you’re driving and you pull in to let someone go from the opposite direction due to parked cars etc and a moron behind you then decides try to overtake and blocks everyone. It’s happened three times to me in the last few weeks.
I have thought for some time that my car could benefit from a car-to-car missile system.

You'd then be stuck behind the burning wreck of the car that had overtaken you though. Cutting off your nose to spite your face.

BBC2 tonight 7.30pm Race Against The Tide. Adults building fkn sand castles before the tide comes in and demolishes them.  So glad I paid my licence fee.
Trouble is that morons like it. They have to keep the viewing figures up on prime time to maintain funding for decent shows.

  • What is the point of fining water companies for emptying shit into the rivers and seas. All they are going to do is add it to the bills we pay, thereby making us pay for their actions.Only way to stop it is make those responsible pay the fine themselves or lock them up for a few months.

When i bought my current car, the back bumper had been fitted a bit incorrectly clearly after being rear ended. It also now sported a towbar on the back, no electrical feed so can't be used, but if someone runs into the back of it what they will be damaging is their own motor. I decided to keep it.

People who have £35 million laying around spare who decide it should go to a political party.

Lord knows the good that money could've done, but no it has to go to Crypto Nige the bitcoin king, who makes millions supporting these organisations.

I wish I could like this more. It drives me mad that the reaction to lights changing by so many is so slow. I make sure I am ready to move off as soon as the lights change. If I'm at the head of the queue  I can be a a couple of hundred metres down the road, before the next person has moved off. Fewer people get through the lights  increasing congestion

That could be me, Stop/Start system with Engine Settings primed towards Economy .
The Comfort/Eco setting on my AUDI does soften the pull away considerably.

surely as an Audi driver thats not possible as most race through traffic lights on amber/ red and so dont get caught up by traffic lights (unless they get tangled up with an oncoming Audi anticipating the green).

I drive an aging petrol automatic, perhaps that is the reason why I'm ready to move off quicker.

I've possibly got a bit used to the acceleration off a standing start in my van and the ever increasing numbers of EVs, delivery drivers and uber drivers on the road mean gaps on roundabouts are becoming a commodity and I notice the miniscule dwell in my Audi when pulling away with it being petrol. So it gets dropped into sport mode before I reach the roundabout

So yeah, I've managed to shoehorn in EVs annoying me

People who only moan about political rants on CL when they don't like what is being pointed out.

You could have highlighted the more recent "People thinking that water companies will be able to recruit any credible leadership, with the aim of resolving the position within which we find ourselves, if poor performance resulted in personal bankruptcy and / or imprisonment." from Sporadic, or you could have highlighted both...

  • Commentators, pundits and players ex or current all saying it's a short career to justify money. So you can't do anything after your mid 30s? And it's not like they were being paid pittance when they were playing.

No, it’s been made clear multiple times that political bollocks is not for here. It’s not hard ffs.
