I’m not arguing with that at all but we clearly had the upper hand with the state of the game at 55 minutes and squandered it. We should have been 3-1 up at that moment.Chunes said:

That back 4 from 4 years ago, Trippier Stones Maguire Walker was way stronger than what we now have.

Absolutely. Spain are undoubted the best team in the world by a mile at the minute and it was going to take them having an off game to beat them. They were having an off game and we didn’t punish them when we could, that’s what I’m frustrated about.Chunes said:

Yep that’s the crux. This Spain generation are way ahead of anyone else. I don't really watch City so I'm not sure what's happened to Guehi. He looked so assured when he started for England but was the opposite tonight. Whole defence is weak, I'd probably prefer to have Maguire back.
Enjoyed the game though. The nations league has definitely improved international breaks.2 -
