Screw all these poncy arthouse films people are posting to pretend they’re bougie film critics. This is the stuff you should actually be watching:

    Armageddon
    Die Hard
    Independence Day
    Gremlins
    Empire Strikes Back
    Star Trek II
    Terminator 1 & 2
    Alien, Aliens and Alien 3
    Prometheus
    Batman Forever
    Indiana Jones OG Trilogy
    Jurassic Park
    Alita: Battle Angel
Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick
    Masters of the Universe (1987)
    True Lies
    Dredd
    Naked Gun 1,2,3
    True Romance
Each to his own but I'd rather bang nails into my own head than watch most of that old shite

Cinema Paradiso is one of my favourites - such an emotional watch. A film about getting older and looking back....
Another of those films I really, really liked at the time, but couldn’t sit through another viewing.

Screw all these poncy arthouse films people are posting to pretend they’re bougie film critics. This is the stuff you should actually be watching:

    Armageddon - good rubbish
    Die Hard - good
    Independence Day - rubbish rubbish
    Gremlins - fun
Empire Strikes Back - great, George didn’t ruin it
Star Trek II - Shatner’s finest
    Terminator 1 & 2 - Arnie’s finest
Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 - fantastic, fantastic in a different way, different but rubbish
    Prometheus - arty rubbish
    Batman Forever
Indiana Jones OG Trilogy - excellent, OK, excellent with added Connery
Jurassic Park -  overall underwhelming but some good bits
Alita: Battle Angel - not seen this, but will make the effort at some time
Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick - not seen these. I will do my best to avoid them
Masters of the Universe (1987) - not seeing this and not bothered
    True Lies - OK
Dredd - Sylvester Stallone eat your heart out
Naked Gun 1,2,3 - more laughs than are good for you,
    True Romance - OK
Never thought of myself as a film critic, bougie or otherwise. The brief was to recommend films, so that’s what we were doing.
