It's crazy how centre midfield wasn't the first thing prioirtised this season. We brought in Chalboah who will rarely play, Skipp as a late replacement once Chalaboh inevitably got injured and Ouma who has previous for going awol.

My hunch is that we waited to get one or two priorities over the line and when they didn't happen, we were left scrabbling.  Only a guess on my part though.  Transfer windows don't always work perfectly no matter how much preparation and work goes into them; especially for clubs with smaller budgets.

Needless to say, I have had the last laugh.
At least someone in our fanbase can enjoy signings not working out.
I'm just the Dr, I didn't make the needle sharp or another example Im just a fan, I didnt sign the CM with zero championship experience and a history of going AWOL at previous clubs

Six weeks later and still without a club.
Tbf Jones talked about how much of a huge battle it was to get him to Charlton in the first place and was on a big wage for L1.

Don’t get me wrong love him as a character and as an athlete but as a footballer don’t think he justified being such a hard decision to come to us in the first place. Think he may just be too over confident on his value and ability which is why he hasn’t found anywhere sooner
