"CHARLTON Athletic are in the hands of new owners after takeover talks were completed successfully today.
A statement is due to be issued this afternoon giving more details on the buyout.
A group of investors, represented by the club's former chief executive Peter Varney, have been involved in due diligence for the past few weeks.
And the South London Press understands the takeover process was successfully concluded earlier today.
