Quick footnote to Shirty5's info on page 5 of this thread re Ben Williamson, a product of the Glenn Hoddle Acadamy in Spain, signing for Bournemouth. Williamson was one of 4 trialists who featured for Charlton against Spurs last week. Watch this space to see if we missed out on signing the next Steve Morrison/Charlie Austin/Ian Wright, or wisely side-stepped the opportunity to sign the next Chris Dickson/Stuart Fleetwood/Mark McGammon.
Is it greedy to be hoping for an exciting signing before the window closes? Would be happy with Bostock, seem more able to forgive him for his Palace connections than all the other ex-Nigels we've signed up over the last couple of years.0 -

My cousin knows his agent. Just had a text. Last text I had from him regarding transfers to Charlton was 3 days before Danny Murphy signed for us.
Fitness might be an issue. Also needs a deal on wages.

Hope it's right but if City are willing to loan him out then Leeds would be more likely. They want him, they're in a better position than us, and he's a leeds fan who recently stated he wanted to go to leeds on loan.0 -
