The big broken Charlton badge on the back of the north stand.

I know it's been cracked and broken for a while now and had a look on tuesday evening and it seems it's getting worse and perhaps dangerous as the base was fenced off. anyone know what the plans are for this ? Remove, repair or replace ? In any case it looks very sorry now.

Apparently, we're trying to raise approx £12m for Mark Wallinger to design a new one.

Ken from bexley is a designer and I'm sure he'd do it for less - say £10m?

Ken, if they take you up on this, I want 10%!

Yeah, platinum frame to it for strength and support. Amazing what companies waste money on when they have plenty

Its piss poor and looks shambolic.

Couldnt cost too much to do it up, Sure a whip round on here would do it.  If anyone is up for that ill email the club and find out how much it would cost?

Id even paint the fecker myself but it does look poxy.

Thing is, can it actually be repaired ? With all those cracks it could well be that the structural integrity of the thing has gone and patching it up would be a ongoing issue. One way or another I think it should be resolved as at the moment it's sad.
