@SoundAsa£ I have broken myself away from my busy schedule today to see what teams Chelsea put out for cup games.
Last season they played Brighton away in the 4th round of the FA Cup, the previous game they played West Ham at home in the league.  Not one player started the game at Brighton started the West Ham game.
This is Chelsea, a club who can spend nearly £50m on Jamie Gittens to be a backup player.

I'm at ST holder trying to buy my seat, but it's putting me in a bloody queue.

All very well if he is any good and they can make a profit on him.

Got my season ticket seat, yesterday.  Followed the instruction on the club front page. A bit weird I had to give my name and date of birth as they have those details with my season ticket, but otherwise was easy and delivered to my mobile wallet.

I've just been down the Valley to buy Blackburn, Leicester & Millwall tickets, there was a queue there of people with queries about Chelsea tickets & a handful of people trying to buy home & away tickets for upcoming league games, please bare with ticket office staff they are doing their best under very trying circumstances.

Got mine........ showing the NU totally sold out. I assume that's due to season tickets seats being held regardless of whether they have been purchased yet ?

Despite having attended more than 2 home games this season it’s still listed as restricted to me, so if anybody has any spare or can buy me 2 together for me and my niece would be much appreciated!

Looks like Covered End is mainly greyed out, plenty in the AC Stand and West Upper

Season ticket holders have until 14.00 tomorrow to buy their tickets, so it is a bit early to start stating areas of the ground are sold out.

System looks great but doesn’t work for all!
I have three sons to assign to but all their purchases are recorded against me! So they can’t get tickets.
Email to them didn’t help. Phone lines obviously have few staff.

Not sold out. Season ticket seats are reserved until 2pm tomorrow, so just unavailable at the moment.

Anyone found a way to buy your children who are also season ticket holders a ticket yet? They are linked to my account when we buy away tickets but for this one they are not on there.
Also brought my eldest a half season ticket and even on there it's not even showing he can buy one when I log into his account.
    Ditto for my adult son.
Lost the will to live in the end and told him he'd have to get his own.
It's not worth the agg for me for £1.50.
    Ditto for me!

Realised that greyed out would mean sold or unavailable just after posted…

They've got midweek league games before and after the cup tie.

Haven't they got Arsenal in the Carabou Cup semi final the midweek after they play us?

Yep, interpret that as the NU has no seats currently available. A 2x ST holder buying 2 tickets but not in their usual seats will have made 4 seats unavailable - the 2 they bought and their 2 ST seats which will still be held. That's happened a lot, I did exactly the same, so expect a lot of tickets to become available.

Surely they will bring out the big guns for us and rotate for the easier game vs Arsenal.

Question is where are the ticket office staff? MIA no one answering the ticket office line, goes through then cuts off and main switchboard line goes into a strange beeping noise, most helpful !

As someone who worked with the ticket office staff for 11 years (albeit only at the collections window on matchdays), I’ve got a lot of sympathy for them. There’s a skeleton crew of just three or four full-time staff, which then gets supplemented at busy times by casual or temp workers — usually teenagers, often relatives of the full-timers — with very limited experience beyond the crash-course training they’ll have had on the day.

That’s not to say things couldn’t be better, but the reality is the ticket office operation is light years away from what a Premier League club would have. Unfortunately, with that setup, issues are pretty much inevitable.

Correct me if I’m wrong but is this not the same way people had to purchase their Wycombe Home play off tickets?

A lot of people panicked back in May and just grabbed what they could. Hence loads of tickets coming available in the Covered End when the Season ticket holders deadline ended.

Human error or a crap system? Depends if you purchased what you required with no issues

3065, so just the JS, indeed not the maximum capacity of that stand.

Clearly segregation considerations overrode the theoretical percentage they could have been given.

I do wonder how likely we are to sell out, considering that could enable CFC fans to jump on the opportunity if they are given more allocation
