seriously pissed off with that. perfect opportunity to pull clear. Portsmouth's B team turn up and roll us over.

many saying performance wasn't as bad as Millwall or Southampton, I disagree its worse.

we are by no means safe at all, tonight was a perfect opportunity, and we delivered that.

    Worrying

Never was this comparable to Southampton or the spanners debacles, having said that it was a hard watch being rolled over to a team in desperate trouble like us.  I thought Portsmouth were awful at Fratton.
However, I am looking at third bottom and the next two games Leicester have are away to Stoke and the smoggies, those games they could easily lose and potentially we are ten in front of them come next Thursday.

At least the "let's look up the table" comments can stop now. 4th bottom is success this season. And I'm in the minority but I just don't rate Dykes, especially at home. Too slow and immobile.
100% agree on Dykes. Respect the effort but feels he could lose a 100m race to a donkey.

Him and Leaburn together must be a defenders dream.
A donkey is marginally slower than Usain Bolt across 100m. Not many footballers are as close to Bolt TBF.

Nathan Jones remarkably restrained tonight - where was the screaming and ranting!
He went ballistic at a fan in the North Lower before exiting the pitch. He looked very surprised that there were boos for him and took exception to someone. Held back by Henderson and Kaminski
He needs to take responsibility for that abject performance. He's likely paid 20 or 30 times what those fans earns who shell out their hard earned to expect to see EFFORT.

The pump it up the pitch tactic is fucking wank and shows a lack of creativity. We go behind and we just collapse tactically
I have to believe our midfield players simply aren't good enough on the ball and that's why they're being bypassed.
A glaring recruitment issue then. Two windows in the champ and failed to bring in any sort of ample replacement is shocking

Thats not necessarily on Jones though is it...? - You'd expect the 11-players on the pitch to be able to show the effort required without their Manager having to tell them to do that...

Just clueless….no ability to play a killer pass or beat a player in midfield…..Carey always with his head down …. Dumb as a rock…..never been convinced by Kaminski….gives up a soft goal and no emotion…..too many players picking up a paycheck and not giving a shit……even Bell was poor tonight….the one Luton player we should have picked up was Alli !!

    Humiliated at home (again).
Joke keeper gifts them the first
Joke ref gifts them the second.
We don’t have a plan B, so we get beat.

No Rankin Costello again but Carey and doc playing the whole match.  Fucking shit stain manager.  Fullah no where to be seen again.  The little cretin in charge needs to grow some bollocks occasionally

It will be "I take responsibility" to start followed by him absolving himself of responsibility and "individuals battles lost" for the rest of the interview.

No doubt he will come out with “I’m more annoyed than the fans” just like Millwall

What replacement options out there were better than what we have, to play at this level.

Shit football….deserve to be in L1 playing like that…cant see us improving playing these tactics…. Struggle  to scrape wins and then get blown out every couple of games…..think we will be back in the shit after next 2 games….
Look at Leicester's next two games and breathe a sigh of relief mate.

The referee is not an excuse. Can’t argue a lot of the yellows and probably not the penalty either. Pompey out played us and we couldn’t have complained had they got four or five tonight.

I’d love to know where Nathan Jones thinks these awful performances come from. He needs to get on top of it. Such a drastic fall off from the last few games.

Still not convinced Leaburn and Dykes should play together. We look much better when it’s just one of them.

Jones gets it all wrong again. You cannot expect to win games of football at Championship level with one attacker on the field plus two lumps up top.

What frustrates me with Jones is he doesn’t seem to learn. We put ourselves at a massive disadvantage from the start. It’s not a dig at Dykes or Leaburn, both have played their part in getting results this season, the former clearly can work well with a runner off him, but the two of them together just has to stop. Neither can drop deep and be comfortable enough on the ball to continue to build an attack and from the get go it’s just hoof ball, even if one of them wins the first knock on, the chance of the other getting there is minimal. Must be an absolute dream to defend against for players at this level.

We made an injury depleted Pompey side look way too good tonight and once again that’s on Jones as far as I’m concerned. We were genuinely really competitive against QPR and Stoke but 4 points from this run of home games now suddenly feels like the bear minimum.

Jones’ old club next up away from home, really cannot see us getting anything there for a multitude of reasons and suddenly we are right back in it with a trip to West Brom, we really need to step up for that the way Pompey did tonight or it’s going to look bleak again. Just nowhere near good enough tonight.

Think the apathy from the poor midweek crowds gets to the players…..

Jones said after the Millwall game my team will never play that bad again. I was at Millwall looked pretty similar to me . Total shite. Not a clue tonight,  all those strikers we have and can’t score.

Doc came off but sure. Fullah did score for the U21's tonight, surely a better option than bringing on Luke Berry and his zimmerframe

Where is the midfield mobility and pace? On loan to Blackpool and / or playing for the U21s.

As bad as the spanners performance. Just awful, don’t play Leaburn & Dykes together up front. Every foul they moaned to the ref and we received a yellow. Kaminski is pony.

Well we now know home  gates Re declining again. Watching performances like that, to often this season. It was a little better than Millwall away.

What are the players paid for then? - They're not paid to shirk the performance are they?
If we have Footballers out there on the pitch, representing Charlton, who cant for a minute work out that they need to put in more effort without being told by someone else being paid... then that is a huge concern. Surely when you worked in your line of work, you'd want people beneath you to show initiative and drive without needing to be told their roles and responsibilities every five minutes

Piss poor performance and yet another game that highlights the lack of quality in the side. We're screaming out for a midfielder who can take the ball forward and pick a pass.

Summer recruitment looks more and more criminal as the season wears on with Bell seemingly the only player of championship quality that we signed.

At least as bad, probably worse as (pains me to say it) Millwall are light years ahead of Pompey.
