Top tier trolling, just slip that little 4 letter word in there like a serial killers calling card, outstanding.
Going to change my fantasy team name to Port Vile in his honour9 -
Scott Fraser is available after his six month contract at Brechin City expired.10

The amount of people who chat absolute ‘ITK’ gas on here, I expect applies for other forums/social media as well.Callumcafc said:
Thing is, the whole world knew Tolaj was leaving for a decent fee this summer. That poster is acting as if that's been hidden the last 2 months, or Charlton are stupid enough to have only just realised they've come into a bit of money. If we were clever enough we would've been baking that into any fee we were asking for from the beginning of the summer.charlton_hero said:
Sorry, but that does change the complexion of the deal, Plymouth would've done the same thing.Redrobo said:From Plymouth fans forum:-ArgylelnDubai said: S
Another bit of info but I'm really getting tired of this one.
Sounds like a messy situation.
Supposedly the deal for Mitchell was agreed in principle between us and Charlton. Mitchell was due to travel down Monday for medical/sign off etc.
Mitchell wasn't even in the Charlton squad for their match
Saturday I'm told.
Supposedly Charlton have heard about the Tolaj money and have started trying to add some ridiculous clauses to the deal. Fee supposedly around 600k but they wanted more.
Mitchell fuming. Plymouth fuming. Proper vile behaviour from Charlton that and I hope he throws his toys out the pram.

Not sure what happened with Fraser to end that far down at only 31 . Completely lost his ability or motivationCallumcafc said:Scott Fraser is available after his six month contract at Brechin City expired.4 -
It's also why Nathan Jones is notoriously tight lipped about transfer budgets and outgoings. Just look at the speculation on here when we thought Brighton were in for Mbick, wild figures that were pure guess work. If I were Plymouth, I would have got my business done before Tolaj signed on the dotted line, not always easy though.charlton_hero said:

How terrible and vile that the selling club knows the buying club has some cash to splash and wants to maximise its potential takings. They wanted him on the cheap and they won't get him on the cheap, tough.Redrobo said:From Plymouth fans forum:-ArgylelnDubai said: S

Tbf price shouldn’t shift because a team has sold a player. The price is the price as was seemingly agreed, a club can either afford it or can’t. Personally don’t think it’s a great lookBod said:

So
Ivan in for c £500K (rumoured)
Billy in for c £500K (rumoured)
Grant in for free (obvs a signing on free, who knows maybe £500K?)
A Mitchell out for say £500K
Anderson out, who knows, maybe £3-400K?
Kanu to go, who knows, maybe £750K?
IF that is broadly accurate (and it's mainly guess work but can't see it being miles out) then apart from Collins, we won't have spent a penny so far this window.
Expecting big things in the next 2-3 weeks.

The wages of the 3 coming in will be much much higher than the 3 coming out. When it comes to our playing budget that matters alongside transfer feesAthletico Charlton said:So

I expect the money for Anderson went towards the rest of the money we owe for Apter.Athletico Charlton said:So

Bradford City sign Charlton defender Macaulay Gillesphey dont forget that and will one of our goal keepers go?.1

He have 3 keepers, no chance they leave unless we have another one lined up2

He had one decent enough season so not close to Gunter levels for me.cabbles said:

Not sure why some people are assuming there is anything outstanding on the Apter fee. There maybe but even if there is the Karoy fee is still income in this financial year.5 -
The Apter fee will be paid in instalments over the course of his contract. You are right though the Karoy fee will be recorded in full as income this year, even though Blackpool will pay it over 4 yearsHenry Irving said:

Also, we WILL have spent money. We might recoup some of it but that doesn't mean we aren't spending money. Not spending money would be selling without buying anyone1

I think this is a common misconception. It will go on our books as being paid over the course of his contract, how the actual money gets sent to Blackpool is all part of the negotiation. You commonly hear about these things in the context of release clauses but it will be the same for "normal" fees too.NabySarr said:

Except I would expect those new players to be on higher wages. If for example the departing players were on £7k a week and the new signings are on £14k, x3, that would be an extra £1.1m of this years player budget. As transfer fees are spread over the duration of a players contract it’s not as clear cut as that. We’re still paying the percentages of Kelman’s and even Ahadme’s fees this year.Athletico Charlton said:So

Have the owners made any statements about the financial position of the club?
I heard somewhere that the club is losing a lot of money £12m+ and with the new rules in place, its difficult to see how we can add to our losses through increased costs.
Also heard that the owners are looking to get out.
Some clarity from the club would help limit the rumours.12 -
Surely the new signings, Karlan apart, won’t be on much more than the players departing? Are they really that much of a step up in quality and therefore money?SouthLincsAddick said:

They don’t need to give anyone clarity because rumours don’t matterBigDiddy said:Have the owners made any statements about the financial position of the club?
