I had been wondering about that, as this will be the most sought after away game of the season I imagine.

Scroungers taking tax payer's money for their own mistakes. I'm not giving them a penny.

They using that to subsidise tickets or is it totally irrelevant?

I have just been on the West Ham site, it is very easy to become a member, it appears there is no charge for this.
Once on, it is easy to obtain tickets.
Without doubt we will sell this out so hopefully this is an option for anybody desperate to see the game and happy sitting in the home end.

If their season ticket holders can’t go then they put their tickets up for resale. Used to be loads on there when they were in the prem as I’ve been a few times and was easy to get tickets, imagine will be the same now especially given it’s August and people will be on holiday. I’ll be in the away end though

They should give us some freebees. They have sold two players for 153 million , enough money to run our club for 7 years.

Was planning on going to this one as never been to their stadium and would've been nice to watch us there but I'm gonna be in Vietnam so gonna miss it. Sure I'll get over it.

Can't get tickets in the home end when you register, as you need to add a client reference number to get them. The only way you can get that is to contact them, and that might blow the cover.

On the webpage where you have to input the client reference, look up a few rows, you should see your reference. It's hidden in plain sight, I missed it 3 or 4 times until I finally noticed it. Copy and paste it into the empty client reference box, and you'll be fine. I got to the entering card details stage alter that. I didn't buy anything today, was just checking out the home site in case any of the group I'm buying for have to miss out on the away allocation.

Speculation on my part, but looking at the blocks not available for sale on the West Ham site, it looks like the away end will be the same 3k configuration as they had in the Premier League. Rather than being cut to the Championship 2k minimum.

That makes sense, I would say at least 75% of their games will have a sold out away end.
