Just Imagine if you were him - 6 months ago he signs for the League leaderds in League 1 and expects to be playing in the Championship the following season - instead he hardly gets a game & then when the squad is assembled for pre-season he is frozen out - he doesn't go with the rest of his team mates to Spain but is left at home. Doesn't get to plau any proper pre-season games (which he needs to get match fit) and ends up playing with a bunch of kids & trialists at the training ground. Don't forget he is a seasoned pro and not some stroppy kid - perhaps he needs to be traeted like an adult, because I know if I was in his shoes I wouldn't ne too happy either.
Only a guess of course, but it does seem that way doesn't it.

Personally, I don't feel much sympathy for Clarke.
He had a fabulous opportunity to join the League leaders and really become part of something special.
Others had the same chance and put their heart and soul into it - Danny Haynes for example, joined around the same time.
We know it's not the club and the player cameraderie that is wrong.
So it must be Clarke.

Hines is going to colchester - i have nothing to base this on, other than a feeling in my gut. plus him and sears where a good partnership back in their west ham's u18 days, so it would make sense to link them up again.
