Surely the best solution for all concerned is we swop Clarke for DNG?0
-
even Millwall aren't stupid enough to want Clarke though... are they?0

No but I'm sure Palarse are dumb enough to swap Clarke for Zaha...........cafcfan1990 said:even Millwall aren't stupid enough to want Clarke though... are they?

He was absolute quality for Norwichsam3110 said:Lansbury is one of those names that everyone says they want, but he never seems to do anything once he is on loan. How old is he now? He's not a teen anymore I'm sure, and if he's not in and around the Arsenal first team by now then I reckon he hasn't actually progressed as everyone thinks he should have. He's probably still good enough, but class is pushing it imo

On back page of Southwark News.
"Frenchman wants Charlton return - Dany has decision to make"
Apologies for camera quality, need new one.0 -
I'd have him on loan again no problem.0

Arsenal must have some other youngsters other than Lansbury that we can get. No one had heard much of Jerome Thomas before we signed him.0

Michael Johnson from Manchester City?0

Would love that one to happen. Very good player, experienced and still fairly young.Callumcafc said:Michael Johnson from Manchester City?

Is he still really fat?0

Really can't see all the fuss regarding N'Guessan. Done okay last season and wouldn't be too upset if he turned up again. Saying that, he wants 1st team football but i really don't see him getting that here...................0

He'll do a job from the bench, and will also do ok if called upon if we get any injuries. Remember, Haynes is made of glass, BWP has a knee problem that we nurture, Kermorgant puts himself about a lot and Fuller hasn't had a preseason, so if injuries take their toll you could be looking at Smith starting upfront with Wagstaff, which wasn't enough to put away Leyton Orient.
It's always good to have options, he knows Powell, he wants to play for us, his wages won't be astronmical and he can play a couple of positions, I reckon we should sign him0 -
I just don't think N'Guessan is good enough. OK last year in League 1 but I think we can do better than that now.0

If we could do better why do you think we are persuing DNG ?Rob said:I just don't think N'Guessan is good enough. OK last year in League 1 but I think we can do better than that now.

Think he may well drop down to non league or even quit football completely after his contract runs out at city. He's gone off the rails. Very sad. Plus wasn't he on loan in the champ last season and they sent him back because he was so unfit and couldn't be arsed?Callumcafc said:Michael Johnson from Manchester City?

That's what I assumed too. On second thoughts, perhaps I'm not cut out for being a scout.Tewkesbury_Addick said:

I wouldn't be sad if DNG were to join, he did his bit in getting us here and for my money would be at least a decent option off the bench though probably not first choice. That said if he doesn't end up signing then I won't shed any tears... at Champ level he would be bench material rather than starting games and it would be Jordan Cook he would probably replace, which would be a shame based on what Cook's looked like so far.0
