About 1 and a half miles. About a half mile from Charlton BR.

    2 miles I would guess.

There are buses but no idea which. 161 goes to the hospital next door but by a very very round about route.

2 miles. Well, thats our warm up sorted then, if we walk.

    486 as well

    Grecian,

Not sure who's still on line, But looking back at the thread I think Charlton Charlie has given Sean some idea's how to get to the ground.

Best bet seems to be get to Charlton mainline BR Station and get a cab to the sports ground.
    5 /10 mins at most.

See you in morning, I'll be the rotund aged fella between the posts.

No one is being helpful here.

Are you getting off Charlton British Rail station? if so cross over the road and get the 486 to the pitch. Make it in good time, there are roadworks in charlton village and its a mess.

If you are getting off the Jubilee line then still get the 486.

Me thinks this should have been organised a while back.

    He'll look drunk/hungover/both when playing, regardless. ;-)
I'm laying bets of Nathan first scorer, 22-1 if anyone wants some. :-)

My goalscoring record is actually quite good tbh, last goal I scored in a proper game was like 8 months ago though

Just been tipped off that will be scouts from a varity of clubs looking for some raw undiscovered talent that can honed into a professional footballer, from what I understand they have been told that Shelvey is one to look out for, amongst many others. ;)
  • Options
Yeah they have been told right .... Sadly not this Shelvey though but the other one coming aint bad ;-)
  • Options
See you there Uncle, and good luck to all.
