Ok maybe 500k is a bit optimistic but I would have thought we'd want 100k or more for Fleetwood (did we not reject a similar offer from Exeter during the summer?) and at least 200-250k for Dickson, especially as his record at league 1 is still decent even with the last few games at Bristol Rovers where he has not been starting!
From The Mirror, so take with a pinch of salt if you can find any that's left :-)
Burnley can offer Simon Grayson FIVE times his pay deal in a bid to tempt him away from Leeds United to become their new boss.
The up-and-coming Yorkshireman is in pole position to land Owen Coyle's old post and the Premier League outfit could ironically flex their financial muscles to win the chase.
Grayson is on a low-paid contract at League One Leeds and also has to work on a limited budget and despite his affinity for the club those may be the deciding factors - in a repeat of Coyle's controversial move to Bolton.
The Burnley job pays around £1 million-a-year with incentives and that will have a big part in any move they make for a lower division or out-of-work boss.
Never understand why people seem to think it must be Leeds and Norwich, there is plenty of football to be played and we are going to have a very big say in it plus the transfer window will effect things too. UP THE ADDICKS !!!!!!!
Leeds are 9 points ahead of us and have only lost once all season. They are not guaranteed promotion but I think it would take something pretty extraordinary for us to catch them tbh.

Agreed ........which is also what I've always tried to point out.

The short answer is that a lot of people are fairly stupid and can only retain the last thing they've seen. The same logic as caused people to write Norwich off after a couple of games with a lame duck manager. That said, unless there's a big shift: like one of these sides has a managerial switch, the odds are on their side.

No way we'd get 500k for those 2. Dickson - 100k tops. Fleetwood be lucky if we got 50k.

Yet .....
1-0 booooooooooooooo
wycombe all over them still 1-1
Well done Wycombe by the way!

I agree. I think it may be Norwich & Leeds :-)
From the BBC site:
"But Wycombe, who remain second from bottom, were by far the better side and hit the post twice in the first half.
Several more chances went awry but they levelled as Jon-Paul Pittman drilled in left-footed for his eighth of the term".
Leeds were comprehensively outplayed by relegation fodder today, and were so lucky they weren't beaten.
Guess who Charlton play next week .....?
Don't think one game counts. Obviously a start but there is an awful long way to go before we can think about catching them yet.
Eh?
Half past seven.
