    178-4 now.

2 wickets for Tredders. Could that be ominous in the fourth innings with Croft playing his final game for Glamorgan?
  • Tredders last 2 matches bowling figures:

    233-6

    3rd wicket for Tredders.
  • 252-8 coles again
  • Glamorgan 312-8

Derbys 14-2 in reply to Hants 272

    Yorks 262-7
  • Inability to finish off the tail again.
9th wicket partnership over 50 now.

would say we are 'last' out of the 3 contenders on todays play.

Not sure about that because Derbys look under the cosh on a wicket that is clearly below par. Another wicket tonight or two or three early doors tomorrow and they won't be picking up many bonus points.
  • 334-8 at the close.

Our inability to demolish a tail could cost us dear bearing in mind we realistically HAVE to win.

Derbyshire look to be struggling though which is good.

Glamorgan 390 all out (Coles 4-76 and 50 wickets for the season)

    Kent 55-1 at lunch
  • Not looking good for us so far as Yorks are concerned as Essex are 34-4.

The whole 2nd innings - 187 runs off 185 overs! India tring to save the game. Even then was still over a day and a bit to go - must have sleep inducing in sunny barbados
  • Listening to this on Radio Kent whilst I work....

Nash & now Powell out ...are these 2 players worth their places in the team ?????

I don't profess to be a cricket expert, but I'd rather see a couple of the youngsters in there as I've rarely seen either of these do a great deal for the cause .
  • Now Jones gone . 150 -6 ....oh dear.

    Bye bye promotion ?
  • 150-8 Division 2 next year.

  • 152-9

Sad thing is Yorks are now struggling at 37-3
  • 170 AO from 96-1

    Croft's farewell match 5-31
  • Everytime I big game comes around, we bottle it. Just a complete joke.
  • Following on 7-1 Key out for a duck!

7-2. Effectively we've been bowled out for 40!
  • Bloody hell!
  • Let's face it after their first innings we were chasing the game. 1st batting innings we tried to force the run rate and lost wickets as a consequence. 2nd innings the players are realizing the season is going to amount to nothing. Nash and powell have both had solid seasons (without them we wouldn't even be challenging for promotion).
  • Harsh to blame individuals, with the possible exception of the various incumbents of the number 3 spot, for the season as a whole.

This match is simply the latest of many appearances of Kent Bottlers at the crucial time which long term Kent fans are all too familiar with.
  • If we somehow win this game I will eat my hat. Not sure I own a hat but you get my gist
