Bar Nash (50) & Northeast (40) another pathetic response. 96-5 with Key, Bell-Drummond & Stevens not managing a run between them and the two senior pros each adding a GD to their career records.
keep the faith - there will be a film about this in 20 years. Tredders bowling from both ends(sometimes in the same over), Fat Rob prowling around mid off cutting off the singles, Kent well set, Croft in last game digging in, but to no avail as the courageous Invicta win by 3 runs.
Cook and Mahmood released. Surprised we didn't do the same with Harmison who has never had a great record and had a particularly poor season with us last year.

I have a feeling Harmison signed up for two years when he joined.
Could be wrong though.
Azhar seems more interested in tip and run in India these days so no great surprise there. I did wonder whether The Chef might get some sort of bowling coach role but I guess mark Ealham already does that as and when.

The article definitely says Harmison's contract has been extended and he is not included in the list already "under contract".
Our End of Season Awards in late September were a fantastic way to celebrate our players’ achievements this season, and we were pleased to welcome Members and Supporters, plus our Sponsors and Team Kent Members to the event, which took place at the St Lawrence Ground.
Information on all the winners can be found below - congratulations to them all on their achievements this season.
We now look ahead to our winter activities at the Club, the next of which is our Blean Village Londis Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday 2nd November. We have some exciting entertainment booked, including a fire show, stilt walkers and glow performers – it will be a great event for all the family. Read more below, where you will also find links to tickets.
Kent Cricket End of Season Awards
The Kent Cricket End of Season Awards focused on the achievements of players, with an emphasis on hopes and expectations for next season.
The Batting, Bowling and Fielding Awards are based on first-class matches (including Kent v South Africa), Clydesdale Bank 40 and Friends Life t20.
The Player of the Year Award is based on votes from Kent Cricket supporters, and this year’s Fitzgerald Jewellers’ One Day Player of the Series was decided by Head Coach, Jimmy Adams, with three players tied on two Man of the Match Awards (Rob Key, Sam Northeast and Darren Stevens) in contention.
Player of the Year: Mark Davies Batsman of the Year: Sam Northeast - 1,359 runs Bowler of the Year: Matt Coles - 74 wickets Fielder of the Year: James Tredwell - 22 catches Fitzgerald Jewellers’ One Day Player of the Series: Rob Key
Mahmood career best and best Champions League T20 figures of 5-24 playing for Auckland against Hants. He even dropped a caught and bowled off his final delivery!
And another of our former players, Carberry, top scored for Hants with 65 out of 121-8.

And then Azhar caps his match winning bowling with 55 n o. Shame he didn't do that much for us last season.

Powell's gone (Mike not Chris:-) )
Glamorgan need 61 to win

However Derby and Yorks both win so academic.
Too horrific for young 'uns...
The difference another 100 runs might have made!
Either by preventing Glamorgan's tail from wagging or batting better ourselves.
Another season at least in division 2.
Could be wrong though.
