oh no, the spoilt brat himself is opening the batting for kent

    Care to elaborate, ka ?

Fabian Cowdrey, played cricket with him once or twice when we were about 12-13 and he was a spoilt little brat. Always crying and moaning when he wasnt the centre of attention (batting etc). I also am good mates with a couple of guys who play for Cowdrey and I believe he has the nickname "little shit" as he walks around not giving a toss about anyone but himself since he's a cowdrey. I'm a kent supporter and its the first time i've wished one of our players to fail. I know another player in the kent academy that's a great lad and has his head screwed on who I hope to god will make it. Just to show that KCCC academy doesn't encourage players to be massive dickheads.
fitted in well at Cowdrey CC then! Think they are above everyone in Kent there, apart from their 'Italian' international player.

Excellent performance in the field by Kent the bowling was on the money all the way through. Thanks go to Charlton fan Adam Riley for a couple of comps so we could watch him put figures of 1-14 on the board and the other bowlers backed him up too. I predicted 14 overs to knock off the runs and it took just over 13. Well done Kent even if a bit to late to qualify.

So Claydon went for 55 runs in 4 overs, while Coles went for 41. Seriously, where do they find these players? Guess it shows that with no money to spend, any professional sports team is just going to have to make do. Lots of similarities with Charlton unfortunately.

Claydon is on loan from Yorkshire, plus he's an Aussie. Coles is baffling, a year ago he was taking shedloads of wickets got a call up for the Lions etc but this season he's looked like a club player.
I thought Claydon was on loan from Durham? Three wickets for him last night which was better than he has been doing.

Agree re Coles although it seems he improved considerably last night with both bat and ball. Let's hope it means that he is through whatever has held him back this season.

More runs for young Fabian too even if one or two above dislike him! He's done enough during the T 20 to deserve an outing or two in the first class county matches in my view. His slow left arm might add another dimension to our pretty toothless attack too.

    Kent 304-8

3 batting points are excellent when you consider that at one stage we were 25-4!

Shame Stevens and Harmison both just missed out on a deserved ton each.
