As much as I am pesimistic about the future of our club, from a purely football perspective, the team are showing bags of fight, they have not thrown in the towel and neither have I, plenty of twists yet.
Just heard that the administrator has announced that CPFC 2010 are the preferred business purchasers but any deal is dependent on whether they can buy Smellhurst Park at the same time.
[cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]Is 2010 the amount of cash their pathetic "Supporters Trust" have raised so far? Well done Nigels.
Their pathetic supporters trust has about £600k in the bank, is sponsoring their match v Preston and has paid for their youth team to attend a FA Youth Cup game while speaking to the administrator and potential buyers.
Henry, I think you'd be surprised how much our own Supporters could raise if the club really looked like we were going to go bust. Let's not forget whilst we actually are all playing at The Valley .... unless you're just winding someone up!

Why is this a wind up? because Off-it says so?
Maybe we could raise a lot of money but a match which was fund raising for a charity and where the total was matched by an employer isn't really a good example
[cite]Posted By: Addickted[/cite]They have no where near £600k now Henry. Most of the original £1m they raised 10 years ago was in loan notes which were given back to the fans.
They've still probably got more than Jordan though.

Fair enough
Notwithstanding the amount of cash held by their Trust, I still think they are doing a great job for them, despite the sniping of some Palace fans. They are shortly announcing a plan for the fans to help purchase a stake in Selhurst Park. Thats pretty impressive to me. I hope our Trust can do something similar if we are in dire straights!

"Preferred Business Partners" must be pretty easy to get when there is only one of you!

Wish we had such a pathetic supporters trust.
The rest of the time isn't great either.
;-)
Might come in handy, if they need to set up "AFC Palace".
It'll be good to see them strike up a rivalry with Bromley.
That was paid, when they sold moses to wigan

What ever happend to that, did everyone kind of give up?
About bloody time, we should have added interest.
