[cite]Posted By: kinveachyaddick[/cite]Bougherra looked absolutely world-class. Rock solid in defence and bringing the ball out into midfield and then even attack.
Another performance like that at home to United and he'll be top of the shopping list for a number of clubs.
I think he was in the summer Arsenal and a couple of others, always rated him and did you see diawara scored winner for marseille tuesday another good centre back
Don't know if it was mentioned but DIawara scored for Marseille this week in the CL. Always liked him when he was here probably would've won more people over had he stayed.
Says alot about our coaching that players like Bougherra and Diawara are performing week in week out at Champions League level and we couldn't get that much out of them.
1. If Spurs could defend or only play second halves of games, we'd be bloody dangerous. 2. If Gallas continues to wear red boots I'm going to have aneurysm. (Funny how he changed to yellow at half time and then we scored 3 without reply!) 3. When they rebuilt the San Siro for Italia 90, what bright spark thought..."oh, the away supporters wont need any toilets. We'll just dig 4 holes in the ground and make them p1ss in there"? Yes thats right, 4 "holes" for 5,500. 4. Last word to Gareth Bale. What a magnificent player he is turning into.

League One side Charlton Athletic had/have the following in European action this week:
Champions League
Song (Arsenal)
Bougherra (Rangers)
Diawara (Marseille)
Europa League
Shelvey and Koncheskey (Liverpool)
Seems like another world.
