Sheff Wed FM researcher believed (back in January) their new signings at the time were on about £3.5k a week. With our average wage being £2k last season I'd guess our biggest signings are on around £3k now - players like Green, Stephens, Hollands and Wiggins would have probably been on closer to £1k at their old clubs.
On the fee I'd agree with Covered End, only a guess but probably around £250k.
according to Wiki, both MM and Matt Taylor are 6 foot .. i m o, we could do with a centre back who is around 6/2 or 6/3, BUT of course, better a good 6t footer than a hopeless giant. Pity we didnt sign Greer last close season, he's the type we need.
And to be fair we give Clinton Morrison plenty of S**t and he takes it and when he gave it back we took it, at least he didn't bloody score today thanks to Wiggins
So, what do we make of Morrison after a season in the champ? I think he's found the step up from league 1 tough but still has plenty too offer, thoughts?

Pretty much agree, he had a good season but looked a little weary towards the end of the year and there appeared to be a few more mistakes than usual creeping in.
Thought he was quality last season, good this. Still only 25 too, defenders improve with experience, and I'd be very happy to see him at the back for us for the next few years.
Has done the step up well. Was the main CB, playing with 3 different partners in a team that finished 9th and had a good defensive record. Made a couple of glaring mistakes but overall a very good season IMO and will improve again next year.

I don't want to get shot down for saying this, but his passes to Hamer really frustrate and annoy me. It's the one part of his game that makes him a bit of a liability in my mind.
That said, it's a small price to pay for what he brings to the table I guess.
Thought he was awesome last season, this season up against better strikers he hasn't looked as rock solid, sincerely want him to improve next season and love nothing more when he smashes in a goal from a set piece , didn't know he had new kids to contend with which may explain a dip in form, have a good break Michael!
He is solid, what a centre back is supposed to be. Nothing else.
He tends to run with the ball forwards then realises he isn't able to do much and turns back to play the simple pass backwards.
He isn't in the slightest comfortable with the ball when required to do more than the simple pass backwards, but As I said very solid this year so very happy to have him there next season

what did he do to p'off the wendies at the end of the game .?
On twitter they appear to be wishing death upon him....
Good lad - like your style :-)
He has shown what a great player he can be and they can't cope with it.
I don't like gloating but he has every right to stick it to them.
He ain't got a clue

We will have to wait for OP to comment on Morrison comparing him with llera.
