I really got into the track cycling at the last olympics, ever since then I've tried to watch as much as possible. Went to the velodrome in Feb for the test event, was brilliant and it really is a cracking building, I think you appreciate the speed a lot more as well. Gutted I couldn't get tickets for the olympics but to be honest, I had probably the best seats in the house in February and only cost me £30 and I got to see Vicky celebrating in front of me.

If anyone has a chance to go to one of these events I highly recommend it

Oops - thought the scratch race was final race rather than 500m.

Hoy and Pendleton both through to their respective finals.

Who's Vicky P got in the semi? I'm assuming she's avoided Anna Meares due to the seeding???

Should be home about 4.45, so just about home in time to see us clean up the medals :-)

Pendleton v Meares in the final.

Ahh the emotion at the end from her and her team pursuit team-mate and family was amazing! When they were chanting her name as well!

VP 1up in the sprint final by 0.001 sec against Meares. Not even the width of a tyre in it.
Advantage VP second round as she's following.

    Fingers crossed.

piss poor decision, then she faltered when it mattered, shame for her, but a silver will be seen as a loss

She seem's more relieved than anything her career is over. Massively insecure person I feel after watching that documentary on her, any longer she might have gone mad!

Great career for Vicky though - she's done the nation proud.

Still can't get over his thighs, they're like beer barrels perched on top of a couple of pringle tubes

Two bronze medals given, as they can't see who was third off the photo finish. You can see the back of the bikes, why not measure each bike to see which finish third?

Pop over to the stadium and get the one they use for the shot put, then. Easy.

9 medals from 10 events in the Velodrome, amazing performance.

Brailsford should be knighted too for what he's done
