  • Add to that three medals from the Road Racing and there's still the BMX to come - Shanaze Reade is the favourite in the women's race.

Oh yeah, forgot about Shaz, her last BMX I reckon, her future is in the velodrome me thinks
  • Cavendish is talking about returning to the track for Rio.
  • Part of Cav will wonder how long he'll be top dog on the road. He's desperate for that gold

He'll never be a GC rider and if loses his sprinting edge then he'll be scrapping for the odd win here and there. This looks a good move - he can carry on road racing and winning mass sprints for the next two/three years and then focus on winning on the track from then on.

  • The Glasgow Commonwealth games in 2 years should be good, the English cyclists going AGAINST Sir Chris Hoy (his farewell) and the Aussies.
  • Kenny beating him in Glasgow would be interesting

  • That looks even smaller than the London velodrome, a hot ticket no doubt!

It might be farther away... ;-)

  • Why do they make them so small
  • Track would be too long otherwise.....
  • If the stands are too big and the roof is too high, you lose the humidity which helps them go faster somehow
