se9addick obviously knows something but is keeping schtum.
  • No not really, Reo Coker was down there today (training - with development squad I think)
  • Well we all know that reo has been training with us for a while ...
  • Relegated from a higher division.

Got promoted from this division with West Ham.

Played in a Villa side that finished top 6.

Not convinced tho - sorry Henry - hope he joins and does the trick - and may even buy you a celebratory beer :-)

Well, there's more but if I start being a loudmouth VG might not be allowed to do the tours of Sparrows again, which would be a shame as it was excellent. He has a lovely car too !
  • Well I hope he does sign. Still Prem quality and would IMHO make the difference between struggling and relative comfort. Can't see it though myself.
  • I love how some people seem to think Reo Coker isn't good enough for us
  • Think it would be great if he signed for us
  • He is tall too 6'2? Bwp is also taller than i thought. Yann is the size i thought he was but hope his foot is ok

    Wiki has Reo-Coker as 5' 9" and Bradders at 5' 8" ... hardly giants
  • Its wrong

According to the Sky Yearbook Reo-Coker is 5'8", Wright-Phillips is 5'10"
  • Sorry, was talking about BWP, but yes he looks nearer 6ft

I was at the training ground this morning. Standing next to them (the players left by coach 9.30) I would say BWP is 5'10", Waggy 5'9", Solly 5'8" and NRC 5'7". Yes NRC was there training with the U21's & stuck around watching the U18's. I didn't ask him whether he was going to sign for us, as I presumed, there was no way he was going to say anything.
  • Jesus, just what we need, another dwarf.

  • But a prem standard dwarf.
  • He must have been wearing heels then cos he was several inches taller than me in my heels.. And Im 5'9
  • Jesus, just what we need, another dwarf.

But if he signed for Charlton, he'd be Red Dwarf.

Messi's a dwarf but few would complain about having him in the team...........
  • I've actually got my hopes up now, so really hope we can pull this off.

Maybe NRC (and his agent) think he is worth £Xk per week... if there are no offers at that level then maybe (by helping him stay fit) we are in a good position to make an offer at a lower level...
Do we want him? Well look at the difference Fuller has made up front and think of how we need to build a decent 18-23 man squad...
Can we afford him? No idea
Can we afford not to sign him... yes since we are not getting relegated any time soon
  • I do hope we pull this off too, Reo-Coker would be so important in the midfield - hopefully he follows Ric as the second major FA signing

NRC will look at Ricky fuller and think I want a bit of that sign up and see where it goes IMO in a footballing sense

We can be a platform for unwanted prem talent

A London Club with a well respected young up and coming manager
  • NRC would love his time here if he signed.
  • Can't someone twat him. Sorry tweet him.
